When I first started my annual travels to Morocco, I was in awe of the beauty of this stretch of beach. Now, as the development encroaches on the sand itself, it is becoming a less desirable location to spend time. It's better to hike a bit further down the coastline and around the southern point if you want to find a relaxing place to spend a beach day.

Beach is really big and beautiful. We spent three days in this wonderful town, - the only downside was the windy weather, which is quite common there, as we where told.

Had a pleasant morning walk down the beach all the way from the harbour to some ruins almost opposite the harbour, a 3.5mile walk there are back. Beautiful stretch of beach, we are here in August so there are a lot of locals also on holiday and a few kids clubs, which for us as been nice as its added to the atmosphere. The far end is much quieter and there are some ruins which we sat on to do a bit of reading which was very peaceful. There are a number of camels and horses that do approach you, but if you don't want a ride just say no and they do get the idea after a couple of no's.

We loved walking along this beach. We walked for an hour each day. It is great to watch the camels, horses and kite surfers. We would stop at Beach and Friends on our way back for a much needed beer!

This beach was great. Fun and lots of activities. From horses camels quads to water sports. The beach is huge clean with nice waves.
Go early. Later gets very windy..but good time for lunch and exploring the medina. We will return.
People are very respectful. I have travelled around the world. This place is in my top 5. Remember. ..service counts. ..
