“Sit, Relax with a glass of Wine.....or Two !”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

Having been tio Essaouira 3 times now we have never actually eaten here, but having seen the Reviews, we will be doing so next time ! We always head for here when we first arrive in Essaouira following the longish Coach ride from Marrakech, and savour a glass or two of Rose, with the obligatory Olives......and just watch the waves rippling in to shore, although this year with the bad weather we had the brown sea....which was 'different' but still enjoyable.

“The place to eat fish for lunch”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

A restaurant with an ideal setting for lunch. Dine on the terrace with the sea literaly lapping at you doorstep. Views down the coast of the rolling Atlantic waves breaking on the huge sandy beach, or up to the Port with the walls of the Medina close by. The freshest fish with the catch of the day. The town is a Sardine port, and this is what you should have whether as an Enree or Main dish - whatever , you must try it. Price very reasonable- have the local white wine too - well chilled of course.

“The best fish without candles”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

I was very surprised about this one.
It didn't have the candles and cushions of the restaurants we have visited before.
As we heard this was really good for fish we gave it a go.
The fish dish was simple filling and delicious. We had St piere ala plancha - just grilled John Dory fish. It was gorgeous. The staff were really helpful and friendly, they even took some photos for us. A really great night out even if it didn't have candles.
