I was reluctant to go in as there was only one other couple when we arrived, but the French owner and Moroccan waiter gently encouraged us in... and it was so worth. It was our last night in Essaouira after 5 nights - and it was one of the best meals out. Wonderful atmosphere, even though it wasn't very busy that night: the courtyard is lovely with some quirky art, a fountain in the middle and cool jazz playing in the background. The food was exceptional and my tagine was the best I'd eaten. My wife really enjoyed the monk fish. Perhaps best of all, there was a local red wine at an excellent price - and that was lovely. All in all, very reasonably priced. Would love to go here again.
