Great atmosphere and amazing food. This restaurant had the best food I had during my two week stay in Morocco. Stayed in Essaouira for three nights and came to Le Petite Perle all three nights for dinner. The aubergine salad and lamb tagine with onions and raisins was to die for.

This restaurant can get quite busy and there are only one or two servers which can result in slower service. Relax and enjoy the fresh bread and olive appetizers while waiting for service to have a great evening.

We went in because it looked nice, had a nice enough selection and was reasonably cheap (although later it appeared that a 10% additional service charge applied).
Whilst we were there people kept pouring in and when we left there were actually people waiting to be seated.
I had the tajine of beef with dates and almonds, and it was the second best I have had in Morocco (and at that time we had been in the country for two weeks already).
Go here!

A great place to eat in the medina, it's close to the clock tower and the main street. It's is very cheap and you have a great vegetarian selection of tajines and cuscus. I got the fish tajine with rasins and onions and it tasted amazing, very sweet so if you don't like sweet you won't like it..The only thing that bothered me was that the fish had realy big bones inside.. and you must pay a service fee..

Lovely place with your usual Moroccan decor, tasty tagines, and really good prices. Only seems to be for tourists, but I guess the prices are still above what locals would pay.
