Beautiful Villa Quieta lies directly besides the beach. It has an impressive and authentic interior and rooms are very nicely decorated and well equipped. During our stay we had two different rooms which both were great. The owning family and its staff are very welcoming and make a great effort feel to make you feel at home. They also have many good tips where to go and not to go.
It is close to the part of the beach where many surf & kite schools / cafés are. This is very convenient. To the Medina it is approximately a 15min walk.

We were more than happy with our stay at the Villa. Our experience was extra special as we were upgraded to the Royal Suite for our last three nights at no additional cost. It was larger than our apartment!

We had Moroccan family travel to visit us here and they too were offered a room for the night, which we had not booked and they too were warmly welcomed.

We were made to feel at home and during the day when we were chilling by the pool or in one of the many lounging areas (outside the rooms) we were constantly asked if we would like tea or refreshments. The staff could not have been more friendly, respectful and professional.

The owner and her daughter was also present daily and always made the effort to talk to guests and see how they were.

The Essaouira wine offered here was great, we bought several bottles.

Breakfast is at least 3 courses and starts at 8, finishing at 11 so plenty of time to sleep in.

Essaouira is lovely, laid back. The villa is right opposite the beach and a 10 minute walk to the medina. People are friendly and restaurants are plentiful and food great.

Honestly book here! It may be a bit pricier than other places but it's worth it. You don't often get to stay in a beautiful traditional former palace.

We stayed her for four nights after reading the good reviews and we weren't disappointed.
We paid extra for a sea view and our room was lovely; really spacious with some really nice touches like flowers and fresh fruit. They also give you a bottle of water which is replaced every day.
The breakfast is very big; a large choice of breads/pastry's, eggs if you want and a lovely fruit salad.
There are lots of lovely places to sit and chill and the pool is a good size. They provide towels for the loungers; one day there wasn't quite enough loungers but the other days we had no problems.
Its a 20 minute walk to the medina where most the restaurants are and this was fine as it's a nice walk along the beach/promenade.
The staff are all really friendly and helpful and as a really nice touch they give you a bottle of wine and some snacks to welcome you; we had ours on the terrace watching the sunset which was great.

Unimaginable!!!! We walked into this beautiful villa and couldn't believe our eyes. An antique pottery collection fit for a museum. A gorgeous room with an ocean view, and the nicest staff imaginable. The taxi ride to and from the medina are only $1-$2. usa, and the beautiful beach complete with wind surfing, camel rides and good restaurants are just across the street. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room tip: pay a little extra for the ocean view

We stayed in Hotel Quieta for a 4 night break in the lovely, relaxing beachside town of Essaouira.

All the pre-arrival arrangements made with the help of Fatima, to the moment we were greeted by the smiling and helpful Khalal on our arrival, we felt like we were being treated to a 5 Star stay.

We paid a little extra to upgrade our room to a king size sea view room, which was perfect and very clean. The addition of a bowl of fresh fruit, together with a bottle of delicious local Gris wine, was unexpected and very much appreciated.

The hotel itself is very traditional in its decor and we really liked that, as well as being so close to the beach and a 20mins walk to the historic medina. It is ideally located.

Breakfast and cleanliness at the hotel were also of a high standard. The bottom line is we would certainly recommend Villa Quieta and will definitely be returning to the hotel ourselves in the future.
