El Jadidia was our first stop on our 2 week Moroccan Honeymoon. Riad Soleil d'Orient was exactly what we were hoping for after 20+ hours of travel. The staff were all incredible, our room was lovely, the courtyard was gorgeous, and the breakfast was top notch - the best we had in Morocco.

This riad is absolutely stunning, from the moment you walk in the front door into the vibrant yet relaxing garden to the beautifully decorated rooms and the bathroom...just so amazing....we had to take photos of some of the artifacts. The owner and his staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming, special thank you Olivier for the upgrade to Suite Nuit Safran...wow!

The location of the riad is excellent, not far from the old Portugese citern and many restaurants. Our breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was excellent, loved the chocolate crepes, so French. The only negative I can think of is the nearby mosque's call to prayer....so loud that I thought it was in our comfortable bed....but also short in comparison to some we had experienced throughout our 11 day adventure around Morocco. Don't forget to visit the terrace for great views of El Jadida before you leave. The riad accepts cash only and it is worth every dirham.

We can only recommend this nice Riad with its beautiful garden because of the very fríendly welcome, the helpful service, the clean and spacy room and the excellent breakfast. A good parking site is also not far from the house.
