I booked this based on some nice-looking pictures online. It turns out these pictures are taken in a separate building where guests go for breakfast. The place is a dump, the rooms and facilities filthy. It’s in a neighbourhood where the noise goes on till late at night. An absolute nightmare of a lodging!

the beds are old
the room is so small
i hated the shared bathroom
the juice on breakfast was not natural and the pancakes were not that good

Ideal for a short term stay , owner has an apartment Maison Beldi for long term stays , however we moved to the Riad as it was a shocker. The Riad has a great roof terrace and many sitting areas which are needed as the rooms are small. The rooms have shared bathrooms apart from one where you have to step into the shower to get to the toilet. The kitchen can be used by guests for drink making and fridge storage . Dinner can be ordered as an extra and made on site by a friendly lady. Breakfast is an extra or included in the booking price and is adequate , typical of most in Morocco. The Riad is very typical of most in Morocco, charming , clean , and well decorated. The owner is available 24 hour on mobile and email , he also managers Riad Piri Piri..Please make sure you end up in the one you booked. The Apartment is way overpriced and the Riads are of good value for a short stay. The Riad is hard to find and the owner will meet you in a local cafe where you are obliged to buy a coffee. Parking is 20 D every 12 hours , there is a large park area outside the Riad for luggage drops , you can drive into the Medina , one of the few in Morocco that allows this.
