It's a good quite resort with a beautiful large villas and very friendly staff but, the private pool is way too small and the water was so cold we couldn't swim in it so the whole idea of having a private pool villa was wasted since we couldn't use it , the villa was large with a beautiful bathroom and dressing room plus an outdoor shower but the Woden floor of the room was creaking every time we step on it. The food menu was a disaster not much to order from and took forever to get our order. The breakfast and dinner buffet was okay but also not that much. After all it's really peaceful nice resort near lots of attractions with lovely staff but they really need to improve it.

Dear Nadabara

Thank you for your feedback.

We have noted that you appreciated the large villas with a beautiful bathroom and dressing room, peaceful nice resort near lots of attractions and our lovely staff. We regret that we did not live up to your expectations in terms of food and rapidity of service. Our Chefs are always available to adapt their cuisines to the taste of our guests and it is a pity that you could not take advantage of this facility.

We value your personal opinion as a customer and we appreciate your comments as we believe these will help us increase our standards to a higher level.

We sincerely hope to have another opportunity to welcome you at the Resort.

With Kind regards,

Kamal Nundloll

For our first wedding anniversary over there we enjoyed the honeymoon package during 4 days and 3 nights:
-fruits,biscuits and chocolate on a plate,
-romantic dinner in our villa,
-full board=half-board,
-30% discount on spa treatments.
Throughout our stay we've been welcomed and looked after like royals by the hotel manager himself.
We highly recommend the sports facilities, the beach bar and the Cilantro Indian cuisine.

What a fantastic resort! My wife and I have just returned from our honeymoon staying here, and we will certainly return. The location and surroundings of this resort are amazing and the food delicious. However, it is the service that makes this place so different and special. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff - they are all very friendly, accommodating and approachable with some going above and beyond to make our stay even more special.

To mention negatives would be purely 'nitpicking', and would include the private villa pool not being heated, meaning the water was very cold (especially as our villa didn't get much sun), although to be fair it was technically winter when we went so perhaps in the high temperatures of summer, the cold water offers some relief.

We were staying on a half board basis and so breakfast and dinner were included, but other food throughout the day and drinks were expensive, however this is to be expected from a five star resort.

The only other negative would be that the food quality was not consistent across the resort. There are three restaurants - the main one, an Indian, and a Japanese. We found the Indian and Japanese restaurants very good, however were less than impressed with the main one. This could be down to our personal tastes though.

All in all, we had an amazing, unforgettable time and as it was our honeymoon, even had a couple of extra things thrown in! We will definitely be returning to the Maradiva Resort!

We spent 2 nights at Maradiva for a brief honeymoon in between the wedding festivities. The warm welcome started right off from the booking process over the phone: Sneshie has been really kind and assisted us with dealing with our requests promptly. A special thanks goes to Sneshie from the reservation dept!

We were upgraded to a Luxury Pool Villa with ocean view. Everything about the villa was awesome: clean and spacious rooms, serene plunge pool, good variety of food for the buffet breakfast and dinner, staff who are always courteous and who will go the extra mile to nake your stay comfortable. We have stayed at various hotels and resorts in Mauritius. But the stay at Maradiva is by far the best one. We loved the exceptional service which made us feel pampered and extra special. Thanks to the Maradiva team who made our honeymoon all the more special. We will definitely come back to this resort! We are already looking forward to it.

My wife and I booked this resort for our anniversary. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a luxury villa with ocean view. Our guide Kenny was superb and made us feel right at home. The Same can be said about all the staff. They are so accommodating and helpful.

I cant describe how beautiful this place is. If you are looking for a nice private resort that also offers entertainment at the restaurants at night then this is the place for you. Its absolute heaven. I want to go back again and again. See my photos.
