A very nice hotel ...what really impressed me was the number of pools , there were 3 which made you think you were in an oasis!! All meet the standards of a luxury hotel..One bad thing is you are far from markets, restaurants,....

Hi, the overall accomodation was average, however on arrival our bar fridge did not work in our room.

The staff at the resort were very unfriendly and the managers were just as bad so couldn't really complain to anyone.

The meals were not tasty at all. We stayed there for 7 nights, of which one night's meal was good.

Room Tip: Rooms above pool area had a nice view of the pool as well as beach views.

We have just returned from the Pearle Beach having spent two amazing weeks there for our honeymoon. The hotel was set on a sandy beach with views of the mountains in the background, all of the hotel staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the pool and the sea, perfect to wake up to every morning! Would definately love to return back one day

We spent 14 nights at this Resort. March 2013 On arrival shown to our room 309. The room was fabulous, very clean, over looking the gardens and beach (awesome.)
That was the good thing about the Hotel.
First meal was lunch time, we were shown to our table, greated by birds and flies food was cold lids left of food trays, We hoped evening meal and breakfast would be better. (NO)
Birds were eating off serving spoons with the help of flies. We booked a day trip with Mr Rama (Mercury Rep) and was told it was pick up at 9.00am and back at 5.30pm, we were back at Hotel at 2.30 pm it cost us £120 complete waste of money,we confronted him about this, and wasnt very helpful. we phoned head office our mobile (which he should have done being our rep) offerd us a part refund WHICH WE ARE STILL WAITNG FOR.(our advice dont book any trips) he was very rude.All-inclusive isnt what you think it is,you have to pay for cappachino, iced tea, iced coffee.bar opens 11.00am and closes at 10.30pm, out of these hours you have to pay, even for bottled water.also on checking out after 11.00am you have to pay for food and drinks. If you want a very good meal go to the Beach Shack 15mins walk away,it is worth it. We asked days before for a late check out if we could stay in our room ,reception said it would be ok, on day of departure i was told we could not keep our room i asked to see the Manager waited for 1 hour didnt have much consideration for departing guests, after speaking to him
he did agree we could keep our room. This Hotel needs better food quality, and more choices .WOULD NOT RETURN.We will be writing to Mercury Direct to look into this Hotel

Pearle Beach is perched on shores of the clear warm waters of the Indian Ocean surrounded by coral reef which is why I picked this resort. I visited the hotel in the first week of Febuary 2013 and had a fabulous stay. My room was modern, well designed with a neat shower room. As a single traveller I found it value for money. The view from the balcony was lovely, overlooking the sea, although a bit obscured by the pool bar but I wasn't bothered too much.

The pool was large, clean and a great alternative to the sea when we had to wait out the aftermath of a cyclone and it was too rough to swim in the sea.

The food was the only downside. It was a bit boring and repetitive. The main courses were uninspired and tired. I was told by management that they were getting a new chef just after my departure so I hope that has improved the dining experience. If this were improved then I would have given the resort an Excellent rating.

Traveller Tip: There is a small grocery shop opposite the hotel entrance where you can stock up with bottled water and soft drinks etc. at local prices much cheaper than hotel prices which is very handy as there are mini fridges in the rooms.

There is a Dive Shop attached to the hotel were they take guests out for snorkelling trips and other water activities and again the staff here are very friendly and even a bit cheeky, which just adds to the whole Mauritian experience.

Sightseeing apart from water sports is pretty limited if you are a world traveller, it really is mainly a haven for water, beach and sun enthusiasts.

The staff were always smiling, whether they were receptionists, catering, housekeeping or management staff. All of them were so friendly and always ready to listen to what I had to say or a minor complaint and happily solved the problem. I would return to this resort because of the staff's friendly enthusiasm and happy attitude towards me.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms overlooking poolbar

We spent 5 nights on this property and our experience was just awesome, all of the rooms are beach facing and the beach is simply Beauuutiful. You can just stroll for 5 to 10 kilometers on the white sandy beach with a magnificent view of the serene beach and the distant mountains. The resort is on one of the best serene beaches in Mauritius i'e., Flic en Flac, there are rocks on the beach so I wouldn't recommend anybody strolling on the waves without Flip flops. The resort has a Dive center for anybody who is willing to scuba dive and it offers pedal boats/Glass botoom boats and kayaking equipment for free.

The view from the rooms is just spectacular, you cannot get a better view of the sea. The food is great but Indian cuisine is very limited, if you cannot live without indian food please look for other hotels. The staff and the receptionist are courteous, I would say this resort is value for money for a 3 star Hotel and would love to stay here again if I get an opportunity.
