My wife and came across Tauk today looking for someplace to eat outside on a beautiful day. My wife had the Lobster Cobb salad and I had Caprese and Lobster bites. Service was great and the food was fantastic. There are plenty of G free options. We will go back to Tauk and see what dinner is like.

Love the seafood menu, especially the mussels, lobster roll, tuna poke and salmon poke bowls. Very dog friendly with lots of outdoor seating

We had a reservation for 7 people and they honored it. When we arrived the fire alarm upstairs was squealing and everyone was running around trying to turn it off. Finally the firemen arrived. We were seated. There were about 20 folks sitting outside and it started to pour so they ran in to the bar. Not enough staff to handle this so everything fell apart.............except for the cool of a young girl and a young guy who were playing the part of waitstaff. They were terrific. Eventually we got our drinks and appetizers. We paid for dinner and didn't order entrees. By the way, the appetizers were good. One of our grandsons ordered 6 pizzas from a nearby store and we took them home

We had headed for a bagel breakfast at the Bagel Emporium in Armonk, but it was closed for repairs. So we walked about looking for another option when we saw Tauk with its door open. It said “closed” on the window, but after approaching and asking, I was told that yes, they serve breakfast/brunch. We sat and menus were brought to us promptly. So far, the impression has been ok with the ambiance being nice and the restaurant allowing plenty of natural light in from the beautiful morning outside. The place was empty, except for one table behind us, a mother with two small children. Being hungry as we were, the choices of food were given to the waiter in a few minutes. Our capuccinos, I must say, were very good, so coffee quality and barista passed the test. Then we waited. And waited. Cappuccinos finished, we asked for a second round to come, but this time with the food that came over 40 minutes after. How hard can it be to toast some bread and fry an egg? The waffle with fruits came only with strawberry, the cheese sandwiches were burnt, and the egg on toast was quite raw. We asked for the egg to go back and be cooked fully. It returned still semi-cooked and scrambled this time. Meanwhile, the mother behind us was requesting that her order be canceled because she’d been waiting for over half an hour for her food to come. All this was happening while a woman, who seemed to be the manager, stood behind the bar, actively engaged in phone conversations while the seemingly helpless restaurant staff would come to her for questions. The food was plain, nothing particularly attractive to one’s taste buds. We ate mostly because we were hungry, but only till we could get up and go in search of real food. I asked the waiter whether the restaurant had opened recently, hoping to find an explanation for such awkward service, but amazingly so Tauk had been open for over a year. Tauk did very well with marketing and appearance, but this all becomes unimportant when a customer cannot have a decent meal within a reasonable time frame. Its management, kitchen and service are completely flawed and thus way below what one would expect in the center of Armonk. Well, way bellow what I’d expect mostly anywhere.

Tauk was a very pleasant surprise!. It looks like a small luncheonette, but is it a comfy restaurant with a full bar. There were 10 of us with no reservations and they accommodated us quickly despite only one server on staff.!! The food was terrific and reasonably priced. Our group had fish and chips,Salmon Poke Bowl, Tuna Poke Bowl,Shrimp BLT among others and everyone was happy with their food and especially happy with the seasonal signature drinks!! I shall return!
