I stayed at this island recently with my husband and I can honestly say it is the most naturally beautiful island I have been to in the Maldives. I could not get over how quiet it was. All you can hear is the ocean. The Marine life in this area is amazing too.

I travelled on the normal plane transfer and not the seaplane (it was a bit cheaper). It lands on a nearby island and then it’s a speedboat ride to Kihaad. It was all very quick and smooth as there is someone to meet you at each end of the flight.

The staff cannot do enough for you. They go out of their way to help and are very friendly. The team at the dive centre were especially accommodating and have a lot of experience.

We were on All Inclusive which is something I would recommend to people travelling to the Maldives. The food was very tasty and there was a huge variety (as well as huge portions). Cocktails were great too! Breakfast was great - so much choice. There are cooking stations were you can have omelettes made specifically to your liking.

The villas are large and simply decorated but have a huge comfortable bed and a very big outdoor bathroom. There was a huge TV (not that you would want to watch it when you have the ocean on your doorstep!) and free wifi (great for posting pics and making your friends jealous at home!). There is a nice seating area outside the villa for relaxing. Our room was literally about 10 steps from the beach and there are cabanas and sunloungers dotted about too.

With regards to cleanliness - I can’t see an issue here. The bathrooms are outside so I’m not sure what other reviewers expect?!? You are going to get a couple of ants. I can honestly say that I didn’t see any. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis!

I had a massage at the spa (you get one included as part of the All Inclusive). I think the fact that I fell asleep speaks volumes - very relaxing!

Overall I would recommend this hotel to my friends. As it’s a new hotel the gardens areas aren’t in full bloom yet but this is only something minor. You have the Indian Ocean on your doorstep!!!

We were very let down on this island not at all as shown in the brochure. The main restaurant was not open and there was no water in the swimming pool.
The room had no DVD player as stated and no coffee machine.
The bathroom was not painted or tiled and loose wires hung everywhere.
We had either a trickle of water in the shower or cold water or none at all.
And to complete the picture, giant ants in the toilet.
This was certainly not a 5 star resort as stated.
Be advised stay away until this resort is completely finished
