“Professional and Great folks”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

The team here knows the area and has the a good focus on safety. We did a few extra certifcations here and the emphasis was on the practical which is what we prefer. Miles and the team here are great folks and they do a good job looking after you to make sure you have a good experience. Two thumbs up

“First class dive centre near some of best dive sites in South Ari”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

I'd recommend Moofushi both for the dive centre and the quality of the nearby dive sites for all experience levels. Bluetribe were highly organised and professional; big thanks to Miles, Emedio, Enzo, Lise and Marta for my birthday treat dive and the underwater birthday card at Fish-head and for taking my young son through his PADI Seal Team course. The dive sites have great variety with a Manta Point and an ocean drop off with some quite large grey sharks just minutes away by boat. Other big plus's for Bluetribe are that dive groups are small (usually just one to three groups each of 2 to 4 divers including guide/instructor), nitrox is free and they do 2 tank boat trips (not all resorts do). Recommend you try the DPV's for the shark dives! I saw Manta's on just about every dive and you get right up close (recommend March diving for this area; leave it another month and the Manta's move on to eastern sides of the atols).

“Super team”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

Initial problems with appointments where offset by the inspirational instructors Dood en Denku: well run, very professional, not a rush to get you through the OWD training but making sure that you have a fully understanding, smile from every (but one) member including the boat captains and support team. Go and meet them!

“top of the top”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

Great staff, friendly and professional at the same time. the are able to inspire and motivate everybody without ever pushing. They make you feel safe and relaxed even in more challenging conditions. The add of scuba scooters to the very good equipment is the ice on the cake. Best diving points in the Maldives are within less than hour reach. The Bluetribe team compensate the fact that Moofushi is now overpriced.

“These guys rock!”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

Impossible to fault my Bluetribe experience. Every member of staff you encounter is unfailingly friendly, helpful and professional, boat crew are brilliant,, rental equipment is top quality and in good condition. There's a good variety of dive sites and small dive groups (max three per guide on my trips, usually two) add to the experience. Though not compulsory, the centre's preference is to use Nitrox, which was new to me. There's only a small amount of on-boat training required (no classroom) and for the cost - $180 for the course and manual, nothing extra for the Nitrox itself - I reckon the course is well worth it. There's a fantastic variety and number of fish life on every dive and the Manta encounters (the main reason for my trip) certainly didn't fail to disappoint. Morning trips take in two dives on different sites (9 O'Clock start, back at 1.15), while the afternoon trip is a single dive (out 3.30 back 5.30), which helps keep any non-diving spouse / partner sweet. Unlike other centres I've experienced, there's very little hanging around waiting for things to happen. All in all, a Top dive centre.
