We booked this trip for our honeymoon in June and would like to say thank you so much to all the staff who helped us have such a wonderful time. It was completely incredible from start to finish. Firstly the setting is absolutely beautiful, it feels so private and quiet. The beaches are ridiculously beautiful and the water if so clear. We saw so many turtles from our water villa and also saw lots of baby reef sharks and so many incredible fish. I was in paradise from a snorkelling point of view! The water villas are amazing, the view from the bath is out of this world.

The food was amazing, both my husband and I are really into food and go to alot of incredible restaurants around the world and the standard here was up there. Food was a really important aspect for us and we weren't disappointed, the food was absolutely fantastic.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cocktails were also delicious and we loved the wine fridge in the villa! If you are debating where to stay in the Maldives I would definitely highly recommend Kandolhu as the place to book!

We cannot thank everyone at Kandolhu enough for making our honeymoon one of the best experiences of our lives. The food was outstanding and we felt we had gained a small family with all the staff there at the island. We have already started saving for our next trip there!
Thank you so much again.

We've just returned home from our second visit to the utterly gorgeous tropical island called Kandolhu. We visited this beautiful island four years ago, and knew that we would have to return again one day - we're so glad we did. It was everything we remembered it to be and so much more!

You are met by the most welcoming team the moment you step off the seaplane and from that moment on you know you're going to be looked after really well. The island is pristine with its lush tropical gardens and sandy white beaches. We stayed in a beach pool villa which in our opinion has the best of everything - beach, pool, palm trees to lie under and multiple outdoor seating areas with a very generous sized bathroom and outdoor shower! Despite being on the beach, the beach pool villas feel very private and are on the quieter side of the island which we enjoyed.

The food at Kandolhu was incredible with its variety and we particularly enjoyed the latest addition of Ata Roa for lunch! The Vilu Bar has an extensive menu of delicious cocktails that always look like a piece of art - the ice cold G&T's went down a treat on a really hot sunny afternoon.

Kandolhu is the very best island for a luxury holiday and despite it being so small it has everything that you could possibly need. We have enjoyed both of our holidays there and have recommended this resort to so many people. It is definitely a dream holiday.

Thank you Kandolhu for creating such wonderful memories!!

My husband and I stayed at Kandolhu on an ultimate all inclusive basis for 7 nights in June 2019. We had done a lot of research into the different Maldives islands and had booked Kandolhu in the hope that it would meet our desires of an excellent standard of food and an intimate, quiet resort. Our high expectations were well and truly met! The food was delicious! We ate so much whilst we were there as there was just so much choice! We especially enjoyed eating freshly made tacos from the small restaurant on the jetty. We also loved the Sea Grill restaurant as there was so much variety and the quality was excellent (you must try the tuna steak and also the halloumi!)
We spent our first 4 nights in a beach pool villa. We loved the privacy that this villa had. It was so peaceful and the room was HUGE! The minibar was filled with high quality food and drinks and the extras that came with the room such as a Go Pro camera, beach bag, bat and ball and pre-stamped postcards were an added bonus.
We spent our final 3 nights in a water villa with a private pool. The room/pool/bathroom/view is simply breathtaking! It certainly lived up to the photos that we’d seen on Kandolhu’s Instagram page. We especially enjoyed snorkelling straight from our villa- we saw several turtles and plenty of tropical fish.
We spent our days on Kandolhu enjoying the food and drink, sea-kayaking, paddle boarding (both of which are free), snorkelling (also free- and equipment is provided) and relaxing in our villa.
We enjoying the private snorkelling trip with CJ. It was great to have someone experienced with us for our first snorkel around the island. We saw an eagle ray, shark and turtles. CJ gave us some tips which made our future snorkels equally as brilliant.
We both had massages in the spa ($50pp for a 30 minute express treatment). These were thoroughly enjoyable and the setting of the spa is beautiful and tranquil. My husband especially liked the head massage.
We attended both a cheese and wine event and a cocktail full moon event during our stay. Both were lovely; very relaxed atmospheres and delicious food and drinks. What was especially enjoyable was how the staff interacted with guests during these events. We were made to feel welcome and our specific needs were always catered to.
Overall, our stay was simply perfect. From the friendly, genuine welcome to the delicious al a carte meals, to the amazing sea life (shark and turtles regularly swam past our rooms!) and finally to the wonderful staff. The staff truly made our stay! They were ALL friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Staff members knew our names and food/drink/table preferences which really made us feel special.
I could probably continue writing for a long time as we had such an incredible time in Kandolhu but I’ll stop for now! Until next time, thank you so much to everyone at Kandolhu! We will be back! Stephanie and William

We stayed in Kandolhu mid June for 1 week and didn’t want to leave. We were parents with 2 adult children and all had a wonderful time. The staff were fantastic and gave a very personal service, easily coping with our varied requests ie vegan, vegetarian, and English Breakfast tea! Mark and Laura lead a great team and all facilities, spa, restaurants, gym could not be faulted. Snorkelling is great - easily accessible with lots to see including turtles. Hope to visit again soon.
