Great variety, western malay and chinese. Try the mixed vegetables with garlic, the lemon chicken, the shredded beef, or the cashew chicken. Cheap prices. Food very tasty. The restaurant is easy to find but is not right on the road, so is reasonably quiet. Nice people too.

“Good chinese food.”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

We had 2 meals here..lunch time and dinner time...Simple set-up..but the food is nice and tasty and reasonable prices...we had butter prawns(huge ones), soft shell sweet and sour crabs, red snapper fish-garlic sauce style, taufu dish , 4 plates of rice and chinese tea..RM113..the chinese lady and her son..both are friendly..even her malay staff can speak some mandarin...by the way, muslims can eat here too as it's halal.

“Excellent alternative to the resort”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

This restaurant is not in the best location as it is on a main road, but set back, and the facilities are basic. However, this does not mean that quality and cleanliness are in any way compromised as the kitchen is spotlessly clean. We had two excellent meals here. We were shown the local whole fish, ladyjacket, prior to it being cooked and the jumbo shrimp is the best you will find anywhere. It is a fraction of the price of the resort and it is a pleasant 10 minute walk in the early evening although the resort will provide transport for 20 RM return. The owner, an elderly lady, and her staff do their best to speak English and we thoroughly enjoyed the food which is bought each day from the local market. Its well worth a visit.

“NO FRILLS - JUST GOOD FOOD.”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Visited this place on a couple of times whilst staying at Tanjong Jara resort. Don't be deceived - it isn't ''just outside '' the resort - it's a good 10 min walk !! However definately worth the visit. No frills place where many locals eat. The family are lovely and they serve beer - which is very unusual for the area outside of the resort. Good quality Chinese food - try the jumbo tiger prawns - they are bigger than a lobster !! Very good value for money.
