“The Right Transit Hotel”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

On arrival at KLIA2, it's about 10 to 15 mins walking distance all the way under cover so no fear of rain or hot sun. The newly open hotel is very much better than the one at LCCT. The room size is bigger than the previous one where you can hardly walk at all. I love this new one with a table, table lamp, a chair, a large TV on the wall, a mini cupboard to hang your clothing, a folded chair to put your trolley bag. As usual Tune hotels are well known for their comfortable bed and their rain shower. We check in and bought this package under the promo period where it include aircon, wifi, TV so it's worth the value. I like how we can open the window as wide as possible to let fresh air in, everything about the room is perfectly clean. Checking in was fast, I love the fact that there were two Air Asia khiosk installed at the lobby so you can check in any time without queue at the airport. There were several computers with free internet at the lobby for you to use. The restuarant or cafe is there but not opened yet.

staying here for 1 night while waiting my next day flight to jakarta. plus, wanted to have a look at the new klia2. landed at klia main terminal (on mas) and took the express rail link (ERL) to klia2. it cost RM2/way. 3 minutes journey by erl to klia2.

however, once we r out of ERL station at klia2, it is quite hard to look for signage to tune hotel klia2. have to ask the counter guys on direction to tune hotels. once on the walkalator 1 floor down then only u can see the signage to tune hotel. from there, covered walkway and there r lifts if u r carrying extra heavy luggage. about 5 minutes walk, u can reach tune hotels already.

check in as usual, no greeting as staffs r busy with their own work. no smile, no greeting whatsoever (i guess ppl in air asia group not trained to smile esp to malaysian, unless if u r foreigner). got a room at level 2, facing klia2.

the room itself much better than the old lcct tune hotel. there is at least 40% improvements in the room as well as the bathroom. tv, aircond, towels are all pre included in the fees. the rooms are clean, no cement smell as mentioned by previous visitors. the beds are nice and firm.

overall, the hotel r much nicer than the previous version, but the attitude of the staffs need to be changed as most of the time we r tired travellers, and its free to give a smile rather than doing your own work while we checked in. plus, we do pay as well for the room right.

i stayed one night on 9 june , during my trip in malaysia. The room was clean quite and comfortable. I think that Tune hotel is a close to the airport, you can walk through skybridge until the new KLIA2 .

Stayed here last Sat with 2friends,it's about 15min walk from the luggage claim area/Old Town. Check-in process is swift. Room is almost the size as the Kota Bahru branch, however here the rates are inclusive of TV channels,Wifi&toiletries(towels and soap bar). Water pressure in the shower gives a refreshing experience, bedhead is a great touch compare to other branch, hangers and luggage rack are both very useful. The movement sensor at the corridors is a very eco friendly equipment.

There are 2 unfavourable points - sound proof of the rooms are poor, you can hear people dragging their trolleys and anyone talking at the corridor, then there is really insufficient directional signage that leads you to the hotel, we got lucky as there are a bunch of tourist walking towards the same way.

I stayed one night on 29 May at newly opened on 9 May TUNE HOTEL KLIA2 under still being improving. It's clean and reasonable. But it was so hard to open the door by a card key that I was helped to open the door by its staff.

We stayed at the brand new Tune Hotel KLIA 2 in late May after we flew to KL from Langkawi. We only stayed overnight for an early flight next morning.

At the new location, right next to the new KLIA 2 airport. You can walk to the hotel via skybridge connected to the KLIA 2 shopping mall. Very convenient and easy to locate with signs inside the mall. The food stores inside the mall open 24 hours which is handy for late arrival. Check in at night (9pm) was breeze. Lobby is spacious with trendy and modern decor. There are internet access available at the lobby and two AirAsia kiosks for flight check in.

We booked a standard double room with aircond and wifi added. Reasonable price and the room is more spacious than the old Tune Hotel. There is space to put a luggage and room to walk around the bed. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is adequate and all fittings are new and clean. We didn't get much noise during night or early morning.

All in all, we were very happy with the short stay at the new Tune Hotel. Great improvement than the old one and great location. Please remember this is a boutique hotel, so room is small but definitely much more room than the old hotel. Great for short stay.

Room Tip: Don't expect the room is big because it's a boutique hotel. As it is new, room is very clean...

Modern looking, helpful staff. Rooms are nicely done, comfortable beds and amenities provided (at a small cost) Ideal for a quick refresher especially after a long tiring flight. Needs proper signboard banners and directions to get there though, especially in the new KLIA2 airport. Can be confusing to get to when using the elevator. Tip: Go to the elevator next to Guardian, click on CP3. (Car Park Level 3) On the level 3 floor, turn left toward a sloped walkway towards another elevator (hidden from view). Click Ground floor then go further down a few meters and you've reached the entrance.

Room Tip: A room away from the elevator, as it's quite noisy with people coming in and out.
