Stayed at Tune KD every other week and I must say that whilst it's still better compared to hotels in the vicinity, the overall stay quality has been taking hits.
Firstly, it's the amount of noise generated by housekeeping staff. Whilst I appreciate that they're just doing their job with their tools, the screaming and giggling are quite disturbing -- to the ears and emotionally. Yes, the joy whilst working but I think they'd be reminded to tone down.
Next would be the noise by guests. Now, the management couldn't possibly control every guest but I would love to see signs posted up at the entrance and along the corridor reminding some imbeciles to shut their gap especially at 3 am.
Sure, we get what we paid for. I have no issues with the amenities. Sound proofing every room is just illogical and borders on insanity. People just come for a good wash and a good sleep for the next day. Nothing too pompous to ask for.
I'm sure the "5-star experience at 1-star price" tagline can be achieved. But for the past few weeks, it was simply out of tune.More
