Over the years, the standard has really dropped. Although they've maintained most of their food - the curries, fried stuff like the squid/chicken/fish and the vegetables - but it's no longer the way it used to be. The food doesn't taste as good, probably because there are so many other places out there that can easily offer better food. If you're going to pride yourself as a banana leaf restaurant, then you should serve your food on real leafs not paper replicas. This seriously makes or breaks the taste of the food. And to top things off, the recent renovation doesn't give you the same "vibe" as the Kanna's you've been to all these years. Though I still come here on occasion, it's no longer as satisfying an experience. In addition to that, they are quite expensive so if they want to charge their patrons that kind of price, the quality of the food should match what we're paying.
