“A great get away”
Reviewed May 8, 2008

Though located somewhat not a resort material location, this resort managed to pull off a great landscape, creating a sort of an oasis within a Silicon Valley-to-be of Malaysia.

Starting off with the registration, you are greeted with a cooled ginger tea - nice touch for the hot climate of Cyberjaya. Going to the room, you will appreciate its generous space. The bathroom is nicely decorated with a separate shower and bathtub.

All rooms have internet access with a computer, satellite and local network channels, and of course independent air conditioning. On the downside, this place is does invite mosquitoes. But on the upside, the hotel provide a mosquito repellent in every room.

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a conference / business trip, which makes this my 3rd such stay in 3 years. The overall experience is reasonable, however the attention to detail is lacking and service is generally slow, albeit people are very nice and the place never seems anything other than relaxed.

The rooms were nice but now look a little tired and, sadly, tend to be prone to mozzies (dead or otherwise). Cleaning is hit and miss and you need to be careful over choice of room / bungalow, as some are near the road, some next to Italian restaurant and others close to the railway line. Best to try and get one close to the pool at the farthest point of the resort and also avoid close to tennis courts (wild monkeys at night!).

The pool / spa is lovely and always quiet, free wifi around the resort is a bonus and breakfast is pretty decent.

There are better resorts around Asia and I think that the Marriott closeby is actually a better all round experience.

Super resort with excellent staff and gourgeous garden setting. Could not believe I was only 20 minutes from KL city. Stayed in the resort during the Toto concert.
The resort had this aroma therapy smell wherever you walked.
Location was perfect as the drive back home to Damansara was only 30 minutes. Comparing to holiday destinations in Trengganu, PD etc... I would have been exhausted driving
Rooms was the best and the bed linen was so comfy.
I could get everything in the room - LCD, DVD, Computer, Minibar etc...Wish they had an i pod dock.
I'm going back there again very soon as I heard the spa is the best in Malaysia.
This was the best holiday I ever had. Everything was perfect, accompanied by the best band in the world - Toto.

Our office team (about 33 pax) stayed there for a company event and dinner. The rooms are nice and the resort layout is very green and lovely. Even the bathroom shower is very nice - when there is water! When I was there, there was a water stoppage by the local water supply company. Very late notices were printed and sent to the rooms the night before. When I tried taking a shower the next morning, I couldn't! When I asked why the water tanks couldn't stabilise the supply, I was told there weren't/were insufficient tanks and a supply cut directly affects the pressure to the rooms!

The breakfast buffet was one of the most boring ones I have seen and sitting outside, there was not even a single waiter around! They were all within the airconditioned restaurant and if you wanted anything you had wait for one of them come around to serve something or get up, go in, and tell them.

  • Liked — resort layout, room size
  • Disliked — indifferent service, water supply!

Stayed at the hotel for around 3 weeks or so . A nice hotel for business. Most important thing is it is very spread in a large garden. Lots of greeneries. Very fast wifi, large halls and 3 very good restaurants. It has many double storied chalets.
Rooms are very large with two double beds. Bathrooms are basic but clean. Each room has a nice large balcony. Has a nice pool with an artificial rocky fountain.
There are three restaurants in the Hotel. Verandah is for breakfast and Malaysian, Indian cuisine. Xing Xhoo is the Chinese one and Bistro is the Italian. Huge number of verity of foods and the test is good though smelly sometimes. This hotel is very good for business and honeymoon only where you are not very inclined to get out of the hotel very frequently. But for the travel perspective perhaps this is the not the right one. Because of its 50 km distance from Kuala Lumpur main city. The hotel is located in Putrajaya Cyberjaya area an IT Industrial sector, close to airport but far from the city. You hardly found any shops or locality around the hotel. But still if you check into this hotel for travel then then to go to the KL city or other attractions, first go to Putrajaya railway station( 10 Malaysian Ringgit by taxi and 1 Ringgit by bus ) it will take hardly 5 minutes of time and then take a KLIA Transit train to Kuala Lumpur Central . This is a fabulous train and the average speed is more than 100 km/hr. It will take 20m to reach KL Central. Otherwise if you want to go by a cab to KL downtown, the minimum time would be 1 and half hours if the traffic is less. So better to take the train. 15 Ringgit is the return fare from Putrajaya to KL central and back.

Stayed one night in the deluxe room. The room was definitely big and spacious but appeared worn and musty. The bathtub was not as clean as i would have liked. There wasn't much of a view form the balcony for a deluxe room. You need to choose your chalets wisely.Enjoyed the free internet access and PC in the room. There isn't much to do in Cyberjaya.

My husband and I had an enjoyable stayed at The resort and we are surprised that there is a very nice resort in Cyberjaya! It is a great destination for relax and it is also a peaceful place for a short break.

We booked a Deluxe Chalet near the pool, the room and toilet is clean and huge! We like the decoration and the overall set-up of the hotel. The pool is fantastic, huge and the water is very cold!

I would like to recommend this resort to all travellers especially Malaysian, you would definately like it!
