We only stayed here a night (for a friend’s wedding) but it was pleasant enough. It’s a Malaysian-standard hotel, which means scruffy & ill-kempt (in parts) and with diffident, English-challenged service – but if you take all that into account – along with the fact that you’re basically on a tiny parcel of artificially-beautified land amidst roads and tech-parks, a long way from anywhere – it’s actually quite nice. I was impressed by our room – spacious, well-appointed, with a great view over the pool. Great place to sit & read a book. Room itself was quite clean. There was no obvious scruffiness, which was surprising (and welcome). Have paid far more in Malaysia for far worse.

Service was of course patchy, with (dis)honorable mention needing to be made of Housekeeping, who failed to understand my (delivered with a smile, while pointing at the actual offending mess – i.e. clear, reasonable, and polite) request to remove another guest’s dirty plate from outside my room. It was still there when I got back some hours later. Made for a great Frisbee.

Stay at this place if your expectations are clear – CyberJaya is in middle of nowhere, Malaysian service is generally patchy, English is a struggle, things may be dirty & scruffy – or if (like us) you are there for a reason. And then relax, open a book, and simply enjoy the place. If another friend got married there, I’d gladly go back (though paying only the heavily-discounted Internet rate, NOT the hotel’s over-ambitious rack-rate). I would never use it as a base to explore KL, or have a ‘tropical experience’ holiday. Totally unsuitable for either.

I just checked in today. It is my last two days of my honeymoon, and looks like it will be a bad two days.
The service is poor. No welcoming, no tour, just gave us one key with breakfast vouchers. The room they gave us is with two beds and garbage bags were just laying outside.
Anywas, they changed the room for us and gave us a better one with a king bed. The room had mosquitos and the bed sheets had a few stains on them!!! And on top of all that, two small bugs were taking a nice walk on the bed sheets! How romantic ya!!
Anyways, im in the lobby right now, comained and guess what action they took! Changed the bed sheets!!!
Worse experience ever so far in Malaysia.
Ive beeen to the intercontinental in kuala lampur and ut was amazzzzing.
Also been to danna resort in langkawi and it was heaven!
But this one!! Cyberview!! Its just terrible!!!

Stayed over the weekend to attend a wedding held in the same hotel. Overall service is satisfactory. Hotel premises is spacious and lush.

The Executive Deluxe room is also very spacious with air con unit that is insufficient to cool the room down especially on a warm/humid day. So we had to leave the air-con running the entire day for the entire room to be cooled down - a waste of electricity and really bad for the environment. Otherwise it's quite comfy and pleasant though not really sound proof so we are lucky to have quiet neighbours in our block of 10 rooms (5 each floor x 2 floors)

The swimming pool was mistaken for pond until we look closely to realise it. Due to the colour of the tiles used, the pool don't appear appealing and brownish in colour. To be fair the pool is quite large and they also have kids play pool. Also carry mozzy spray with you as there tend to be lots of mozzies during humid/raining period.

Food wise the quality and taste is just so-so, nothing fantastic. There are food outlets just outside along Persiaran Multimedia if you are driving. Otherwise would suggest taking the shuttle to KLCC for shopping and food then return just to chill and get away from the hustle bustle of the city. Putrajaya is nothing more than concrete, man made buildings. So its worth checking out during the evening for the pretty lights via the hotel shutttle service.

If you drive you can park the car right upfront / beside the block of rooms so it's really convenient unless it chucks down heavily than you can't get anywhere as it's unsheltered and gets flooded between the rooms and the hotel lobby/restaurants. Buggies / Vans available but gets busy when everyone wants to order the service.

Room Tip: Most rooms are away from the pool / lobby so are quiet. If there's very elderly folks or those w...

We chose this place for its proximity to the airport, and it was quick - 20 minutes if you get a taxi driver who knows what they are doing.
We booked a bungalow for a family group, which turned out to be a fabulous, fully detached house with large lounge, dining and kitchen. The bedrooms had huge four poster king beds, very comfortable. The bathroom was incredible - sunken tiled bath big enough for the entire family.Large deck area to enjoy the gardens from as well.
The pools were lovely as well - overall the kids really enjoyed the stay.
Food was a little disappointing - not the best we'd had but not terrible either. And location has little to recommend it other than being in the airport zone, but if you're there for only a short while you can either just hang out or take the train into central KL.

I stayed here for just over a week in October 2012 whilst doing some work at a nearby company. The resort itself is nothing less than a tropical paradise. The staff are most attentive and impeccably well mannered; guests are greeted at the door with a bow. The service is simply excellent throughout. Some of the staff only have basic English.
The room prices are very reasonable. There is a bar, also very reasonable, well stocked and with a good cocktail menu. Food is available in the bar, same menu as in the main restaurant. Breakfast is very varied and plentiful, and the coffee (important for me) is delicious. Lunch and dinner are a little more ordinary, but there is an excellent Italian bistro if you want more classy, European style cuisine. There are some other places to eat a short walk from the resort.
The wireless network was free, plenty fast enough and worked well with no problems. An English language newspaper appeared on my door each morning.
My room was enormous - 17 good paces from one end to the other (yes I paced it out). There was a huge four poster bed with curtains, a desk, table, minibar, dining table for two, sofa bed and coffee table. It had a French window opening onto a small verandah with a table and two chairs. One feature which I liked was a remote control panel next to the bed for the lights. I did not feel overlooked by any of the other rooms. The air conditioning unit was a little noisy, and I slept with earplugs in. The family in the next suite had somewhat boisterous kids - another reason for earplugs!
To get to central KL I took a taxi to the station and then a train, then another train to get to the Petronas Twin Towers, or another taxi to get to the Petaling St market in Chinatown.

On the surface the place looks good, and reading the other reviews I had high expectations.
This is certainly NOT 5 stars. Prepare yourself now and set your mind for 3 stars and you might enjoy your stay.

But after staying here for a week I feel I need to do my public service and warn others - DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS TRAVELLER AND VALUE YOUR TIME.
For holiday tourists who don't have a busy agenda, it should be ok, but for the business traveller who has a schedule to keep, please don't make the same mistake. Keep your sanity and stay somewhere else.

Let me explain some of the reasons why:

- mix up with the shuttle service and taxi's. After 6 days of using the reception to order the shuttle//taxi's they have never got the time and / or destination right. I spoke to one of the taxi drivers and he said he was also very frustrated and he has seen that in the last two month there is new staff working there and they mix up all the orders. He is a local, and spoke the local language, so it wasn't just the language issue. I estimate in total I have wasted 15 hours waiting for taxis/shuttles that were ' on their way'

- understanding simple housekeeping requests. I asked for an adapter. I didn't get it. I asked for some non caffinated tea. I didn't get it. I asked for an extra blanket. I didn't get it. I asked again. I didn't get it. eventually I went to the reception backroom and picked the things up myself.

- flooded toilet. Need I say more?

- neighbour room is not soundproof thanks to connecting door. I could hear every word. Eventually I called the neighbours and told them my concerns since it was 2am and they were still active.

- mix up with my bookings and reservations.

- the SPA is closed for the rest of the year, so if that is your reason for coming, don't bother.

- Food not good at all. And the remote location doesn't allow much choice. The fries are soggy. the scrabbled eggs are floating in oil. the pastries at breakfast might break your toe if you drop them. I wouldn't say I am a fussy eater, but for most foods I had to just close my eyes and swollow if I didn't want to go to bed hungry.

I've been here twice in July and October both this year both for racing in Sepang. I really enjoyed my stay here, it's 20 mins from the track, its close to the airport, its in a nice location, the staff are friendly, the restaurant's are good, decent breakfast and the rooms are good too. Very cool little hotel for a hotel outside of downtown KL! Hopefully when i'm racing again next year i'll be coming back to this hotel!
