This is one of the oldest Chinese temple in Kuching. It is believed to date back to 1843 and has been on official records since 1876. The temple is well maintained.

If you are a Buddist/Toaist, this is the place to pray & meditate (Back portion). You can burn insence/joss-sticks & pray for blessing/protection....etc
For non Buddist/Toaist, one can simply enter for a visit (free of charge) & observe this unique cultural practice/inheritance. The place is clean & the building is well kept.(It is located very near to Hilton Hotel, overlooking the busy traffic road facing the Kuching River-Waterfront)

This compact and brightly decorated temple is located just to the east of the main bazaar and near the major downtown hotels. The place has a place in the history of the town and is worth a quick visit ... it won't take long.
