Just a short trip.
You can here all Chinese language here, by pushing button.
You can learn so much and if you are a Chinese, then you may find out who are you before.

If you have not visited this place when in Kuching, you may want to drop by. It is somewhere near the water front area in the city centre. There is a man though who works at the place and apparently takes donations to upkeep the museum.

The odd thing is that the box we put our donations into isn't sealed and if anything, he probably scoops it up after we leave. However, he seemed genuine enough and shared that the Chinese manage the museum themselves and so donations are helpful.

You will probably finish the tour in about 30 minutes and the guide is generally knowledgeable and tries to make conservation with you.

As a (West) Malaysia Chinese myself, I am astonished by how much the Sarawakian Chinese preserve their history. Somehow, I wish there's a version of Chinese museum in West Malaysia.

A definite must visit for both locals and tourists alike. And well, since it's near the Waterfront (which you'll definitely visit anyways), it's definitely worth your time and effort to visit this place

Well worth a visit if you are on the esplanade and like museums. This is a very small museum but nicely done with a fair amount of description.
