Here you can have a very peaceful, relax and walk around easily. I like the museum building and the landscaping.

“Good variety to exhibits - good intro to Borneo”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

I'm a museum lover, and I did enjoy the variety in this collection. It's not too crowded, and you will learn a lot about Borneo (not just people/culture but also flora/fauna) - recommend it to anyone who plans to spend at least a few days on this fabulous island in charming little Kuching.

“worthwhile”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

It was great except for the fact that you can't take photos. Still I learned a lot and for free, so it's a must since it holds sarawaks treasure from fossils to art to live marine animals, and a wealth of collections...loved the old ethnology museum, but hated the new museum it was about death and it bumed me out.

“Sarawak history”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

Plenty to see at the museum, although again, photography is not allowed. My only criticism is that some displays had no/insufficient labelling. Loved each section and all the information reinforced what was already gleaned from cultural village. Well worth a visit.
