After a day of hot sun, at least here provides some air cond ( quite bad if compared to Chinese museum's air cond)

Shows some historic artifacts of ancient Sarawak back to British colonization.

“The Best Anthropological Museum in Asia”
Reviewed February 13, 2012

Nearly one hundred years old this museum is one of the best anthropological museums in Asia and the world. Borneo has the wonderful cultural heritage and enough ethnological material to collect. It is a must in Kuching

“Informative for those who are interested in history”
Reviewed February 8, 2012

Free admission and the curator was very nice there.
it's a big dark on the inside but was well mantained. the aircon worked SUPER FINE after a hot day under the sun.

mostly about history about sarawak. and includes small models of the longhouses..

not bad if you have time to spare on your trip.

“A touch dusty, but informative”
Reviewed February 7, 2012

A great place to learn about the many different people of Sarawak, however nothing too too deep here. Some interesting pieces of art on the second floor.

“Not Bad!”
Reviewed February 4, 2012

Its not a big place compared to other museums visited elsewhere, but I guess its a reasonably decent place in Kuching afterall. There are some interesting displays but added value would be having some friends to share the experience and photo-taking together in the museum.
