The museum is actually a campus of 4 buildings with separate collections. Apart from the fossils in the "Natural History" museum, the rest of the exhibits were open for free public viewing.

Fanstatic museum with a lot to learn. They even have some history or tools for petroleum and oil drilling. The animals at the museum are stuffed but hard to believe that they are real. Ex: swordfish and many. Nearby to the town. Worth too see and learn

If you miss the chance to visit this museum, you will miss an ideal oportunity to get a full rounded experience and insight into what makes Sarawak so unique, so beautiful, so liked and so different to other places in Borneo, Maylasia.

As 100 years younger than Sarawak Museum, I must admit that this museum as well as Sarawak has a long history. Just go if you want to know more about Sarawak: the Rajs, Orang Utans as well as where to go and stay.
