Only RM0.50 per person to cross over the river... an existing and new experience of taking a short trip with sampan… There has a famous and delicious layer cake house named Mira Cakes House … displaying different kind of flavour layer cakes and free testing as well ~~~

nice place to visit especially in the evening. you may consider a sunset cruise in early evening. it is very safe here as police patrol with bicycles. people there are friendly.

A very pleasant after dinner stroll, the esplnade unfolds gently alongside the river. Tranquill and pleasant, with very friendly people.

We stayed in Kuching for a few days and we were pleasantly surprised by the relaxing atmosphere at the Kuching waterfront. Certainly beats petaling street in this aspect.

Kuching is a very laid back sort of a place and a walk along the esplanade is very pleasant (tuneless Chinese busker aside). A few stalls open up at night. Try the yam ice cream, much nicer than it may sound.

It's the easiest way to get from one end of Kuching to the other, away from the busy road
