Loads of ceramics and pictures. Informations on cats and anything related to cats. Nothing antique about this place. Nice view outside, though. Location is good, you can drop by on your way to Damai/Santubong beach.

“Meow!!!”

This spaceship-built building contains quite a few nuggets of humor and laughter; free of charge but a small charge for a camera, if you are a cat lover, you will adore it; if you are not, maybe you have kids? It was a fun place to discover.

“For cat lovers and those who like unusual museums”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2012

Famous cartoon cats behind glass was disarming but the small camera fee ended up being well worth it as the photos taken have been enjoyed often since.
Difficult location north of river and not walking distance to other attractions - local taxi agreed to wait and return to hotel. Overall in Kuching it is a good idea to get the mobile number of one taxi driver and keep available as few cruise looking for work. One hour was not enough to read all the information but probably enough for someone not obsessed with cat things. 3000 year old egyptian cat mummy unique. Kitsch place but a must do for anyone who seeks out unusual museums .

“Strictly kitschy but a good quick trip to pass time”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2012

I spent quite a bit of time in Kuching, which advertises itself as "cat city" everywhere, so it was hard to resist the 'cat museum'. There's nothing very eorable about it - just a lot of kitschy catty stuff, but it's a pleasant enough way to pass a hot morning hour or so.
