“Best in town!”
Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

The long queue is testament to thier good food and drinks.

This shop has one of the best Teh C peng in town, and the mix pork soup and kolo mee is to die for.

highly recommended but one must be patient for the wait.

“45 mins waiting time”
Reviewed July 6, 2014

be warned of its lengthy waiting time but it is worth trying. so, have something light first before coming here. it is the noodle version of Penang's yam rice as the noodles were served with a pork intestines soup. the soup has some pickled mustard and all pork innards that you can think of. you can customise the ingredients for the soup and the noodles all come in one type - plain with light soy sauce vinegar seasoning. Add some pepper to the noodles for some kick. Also, try not to sit-and-chat after finishing your meal as you will get a lot of stares from those who are queuing for a table. don't hold a table for too long after meal.

“Authentic and value for money”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

This place provided a different dining experience; there's always lots of people and need to queue to get a spot, then sit and wait for them to take your order. Do not attempt to go to the noodle man to order. The noodle portion was generous, soup can be customised to your liking (if you do not like kidney, etc). It's very authentic. One of the best in Kuching, if not the best!

Tip: Don't go when you are very hungry, and not with a big crowd as it will be hard to get seats.

“Not worth the long wait! Better & quick service at Hong Hin”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

Food is just lousy - tasteless mass produced combination soup! Noodles - just the same as the soup. Waited 40 mins for a cup of tea and 50 mins for noodles from time of order. What a waste of time & facing unfriendly faces of the service providers!
Not again

“Love the mee”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

Had the famous kolo mee with the mix pork soup. Really love the kolo mee a lot that I think I can even eat plain mee and I'd still be happy with my meal. The pork soup was quite ordinary and pales in comparison to the mee. The mee had fried scallions in it and I don't know what else it was seasoned with but it was tasty on its own. The mee itself was the perfect texture, springy but not chewy. Only thing is the horribly long waiitng time despite us going at a very late time for lunch. We waited more than an hour.
Oh, did I say I love the mee? ;)
