“A well organised rainforest tour suitable for young and old.”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

I venture this tour Option B - visiting Orang Utan, Village walk & Kayaking with my two daughters, age 9 & 11 plus both my generally fit elderly parents age 65 & 70. We were advise on bookings that sun screen, mosquito repellent, hat and preferable long sleeve are require for sun protection. We were glad that we took the advise seriously as none of us came back with any sunburn despite the hot scorching sun!
Overall, we have nothing to fault the tour. It was well organised, the rain forest scenery was fab and an experience my two daughters will not get from any textbooks.Thank you to Borneo trek & Kayak adventure for the experience. Well worth and highly recommended.

“well organised tour - option B”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

The orangutan visit was very well timed to be there before they arrived to feed , we were able to see them in two locations as they made their way down through the park , many independent visitors had missed the best opportunities by arriving too late
Canoe trip was comfortable even for novices although getting out a few times to stretch legs and back was very welcome - take good waterproof sun protection and dont forget backs of feet. Your clothes will get wet . You can leave your main bags in the support vehicle and just take items needed in the waterproof bag supplied. There were two bottles of water each on the canoe and more available at lunch. CD of photos was delivered promptly to hotel desk that evening . Follow the guide canoe and dont assume you know the river better than him . He may sit back at times and watch you run aground.
Would gladly do it all again on another trip

“Great family fun”
Reviewed August 13, 2012 via mobile

We chose package B based on other reviews. A quick look at the Orang's; once you've seen a couple you are kind of done... Then half hour drive to the top of the river. Water level was low so we had to paddle more and grounded quite a lot but still had loads of fun. Frequent dunks actually made it more easier to bear the heat and humidity. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Lunch in the village plus a quick tour of local life were very nice too. Would do this again for sure and recommend for family's.

We had a great time kayaking through the Sarawak forest. We stayed at the Damai beach so we first we had to come to Kuching where we were picked up by Jackson who then drive us to the starting point of this adventure. It takes about an hour by car so we had plenty of time to chat and get lots of information about this lovely island it's culture and people. Everything went perfect on this trip, we had few stops and a lunch break. This is really adventure for all since we had also our 3year boy with us and he absolutely loved every minute of it. He was able to stay awake during entire trip and he really participate in it=) At the end Jackson again drove us to Kuching and at the end of the day as he promised he delivered via last shuttle (Kuching-Damai) complimentary cd with the photos of this trip. So tnx again for this experience and to all of you reading this....JUST DO IT! =)

“Great day out”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

A great day out kayaking in the interiors of Kuching. We went for a kayaking package where we kayaked for 11km, stopping by a waterfall, an aborigine village where a nice local lunch was served and lastly, stopping by the river bank for a quick dip in the river. Pictures will tell the words.

Note: this is my 2nd trip. It was raining heavily on my 1st trip so there wasnt much to see but it was still enjoyable. So please note that the trip depends on the weather
