Good walk round and a nice trip .. think they should go to see how it is domne in florida . Some commentary during the show would be good .. some areas a little tatty and dirty. Beware teh photos of humans in crocs with choipped limbs and gore .. the only croc T shirts were for Thialand .. this is a potential winner but marketing and presntation certainly let it down in some areas

“A tale of two sides..”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2011

What we really like was the new enclosures at the back of the park. The crocs look to have heaps of space and plenty of water and shade. However the first impression is very poor, a lot of the tanks with fish in are very dirty and in need of a clean. The wall of photos fails to warn you of the gruesome photos of a young boy being removed from a crocs stomach. The plastic toy crocs are just not needed.
If they can turn the front area into the same great condition as the back them they will have a winner.

“Horrible animal show”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2011

Awful place. Im not a fan of crocodiles but they really shouldn't be treated like this and put on show. These animals are one of the most feared in the wild and were around when the Dinosaurs ruled the earth! What a shame to see them like this.

“A depressing animal holding pen”

Arriving at the Crocodile farm my friends and I were eager to see the crocodile feeding and learn some more about the animals. Our mood was quickly dampened. Entering into the building reveals a tiny museum about crocodiles which is a few skulls, a taxidermy crocodile, and then 20 some horrific pictures of crocodiles being killed and the bodies of children who had been eaten by crocodiles. Do not let young children see these. After that we moved on to the animal enclosures. The were really just concrete boxes with a little water and some sand. There are other animals here as well. There are large fish being kept in not even a foot of water. Additionally there are some chickens and peacocks which barely have space to roam around. After proceeding down through all of this we made it to the feeding show. It is quite impressive to see such large animals able to propel themselves out of the water, but the way in which the show is down the keepers will move the food away at the last second. They really showed no respect for these incredible powerful and fearsome animals and simply made a mockery of them.
I will say that this may be a very strong reaction to this because my group had just come from a lovely experience of seeing protected Orangutans living partially independently in the rainforest. Non the less the conditions in which the animals at the crocodile farm is border-line inhumane. Overall I would not recommend going here.

“Jumping crocs!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2011

Was initially discouraged because of lonely planet and other trip advisor reviews. BUT THE CROCODILE FEEDING WAS SO SWEET!! In the wild These Crocodiles naturally use their tails to propel them out of water to snatch birds and monkeys in mangroves. So watching them lunge out and snap up some chicken or pig thighs wAs awesome! You can skip all the other animals and smaller crocs at the beginning of the tour. Skip all the way to end were there are massive pools and marshes with over 30 big crocs per area. Never seen so many crocs on te move. And they fight too! Just go! It's awesome
