A bit sketchy eg multiple calls to chase dry cleaning, bizarre insistence on me sitting in a random seat for dining, however these are very minor points in an excellent one night stay. Quick check in, big, immaculate room with a lovely comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Great views across kuching and walking distance from bar/dining options. Gym was big and well equipped (though the rowing machine moved about 10ft on the newly cleaned floors as I used it!) and the pool is great for an early morning proper swim. Great in its own right overall but for the price I paid it was excellent. Would recommend, just stay on top of the service. Friendly and slow is still slow!

Stayed in the Deluxe King room that is huge with a bathroom that can be larger than some budget hotel rooms.
Location okay.
Breakfast good.
Gym nice, with good set of equipments.
Pool looks large. (Unfortunately, I could only watch the pool from my room)
Had been staying at Pullman for the last 2 trips, will probably stay there for all my trips to Kuching.

Well, this is the best option in town - it is relatively comfortable, well-located and caters to foreign visitors. At the end of a 34 degree day, all you want is a coffee and and an air conditioner and Pullman delivers on both scores. I did not think that breakfast was particularly good nor did I think that the room service menu or the restaurants were anything to write home about, but the hotel is a good option for the money. The rooms are quiet and very large, so ideal as a base to explore many interesting nature parks. The staff clearly need more training (it took me 3 tries to settle a simple hotel bill), but they make an effort and eventually get it right...All in all, a good option for the money and definitely the best option in Kuching.

This is one of my favorite hotels in all of Malaysia. They offer a terrific breakfast and very comfortable rooms with nice views of the city and the nearby river. They have free WiFi in the lobby, but you need to ask for a password every hour, which is a bit of an annoyance.
