We stayed for an enjoyable long weekend at the Pullman, Kuching. It's in a pretty good location, not waterfront but very close by. Rooms are in good condition, beds are comfortable and pillows are plentiful. Breakfast at the Puzzle bar has a good variety to suit all tastes. There is free WiFi in the hotel lobby. Service is attentive and friendly.
The fitness centre is excellent - very spacious and has all of the equipment you might want. It even includes a single complimentary class each weekday for guests - typically yoga or step. The spa is nice and includes steam room, plunge pool and jacuzzi (separate for males and females), and was having a 1-for-1 promotion when we stayed, making it reasonable value. For those with a sweet tooth and interested in a bargain, Cafe Chat in the hotel lobby does happy hour 1-for-1 on cakes and sweets 8.30-10pm. Yum.
The only thing to bear in mind that this is a 4 star rather than a 5 star hotel, so some of the special touches and luxurious feel you get in a 5 star will not be found here.
All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return should we travel to Kuching again.More
