The only criticism I can say about this hotel is that it's not situated in a convenient area for the city centre....apart from that, it represents excellent value for money.

I loved the cleanliness, the under-used swimming pool, the size of the rooms, great showers, fast internet connection in the rooms and as a westerner, I could find something suitable to eat for breakfast in a dining room with the most fantastic view!

I would certainly stay here again!

The rooms we stayed in were all slightly different but all charming & large, some had kitchen facilities and living rooms with sofas, big screen TVs (including Australian sports) and separate bedrooms. Internet access via a cable. Breakfast could be better. Staff very friendly & eager to help. There is a free washing washing & dryer with detergent for guests' use. We liked the gym & small but useable pool. Small mall next door for shopping for incidentals & with several Chinese restaurants. Free parking underground. A little out of the way but good value for money.

I went there for a conference and took my wife and son with me. It was one of the hotels recommended by the organization committee, and the cheapest! But what really made it my hotel of choice is the presence of a kitchenette (which turned out to be a large kitchen!) since special food must be made to my son. I had problems booking online so i contacted Mrs. Bollin Duju, she was very helpful and made the reservation instantly. She asked for our date of arrival and flight number so when we arrived, we found a person holding a sign with our names and took us in a very modern car to the hotel. The check in took literary seconds and our room was very clean and spacious. The internet is very fast and the pool and gym facility was a nice relaxing option two. The only drawback is the food. The breakfast was a little poor with no western food (eg:cheese) and there is no food service to the rooms. But other than that, every thing is great!

I found this hotel through Trip A and again it has proven to be an excellent choice. My family of four and our elderly friend from church attended the Alpha Conference in Kuching. The staff are v v helpful and volunteered to take us and pick us up from the conference venue. They also helped us to save $ when we paid the hotel the fare to see the Orang Utan sanctuary. A party of five meant that we ahd to take two taxis otherwise for the trip to the sanctuary. Thank u again Reviewers.

The deluxe rooms are good for families. It comes with 2 beds, one queen sized and one 4 feet single bed (can sleep 2 children). This configuration can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 children. Priced at RM155 nett and with breakfast for 2 adults, this is very good value considering the comfort of the room and facilities of the hotel. The color scheme is the room was very cozy and the bedding was comfortable. Bedding sheets and towels were spotless. Guest are also given the option to choose whether they want their bed sheets and towels changed if they are staying more that a couple of days - good that the hotel gives thought towards environmental matters. This hotel has a pool and gym, which should be more than enough for most. Take note though that the hotel "restaurant" is only open for breakfast, at other time it is an area available for guest use (sit around, read, have a cup of complimentary tea/coffee, etc).
Staff here are polite and soft spoken, pretty much representative of the general public in Kuching.
There are a couple of eateries next to the hotel (small shopping mall) and shops around the hotel. You will also find a couple of banks and ATM within 5 minutes walking.
Taxi to the waterfront is RM 10 one way (per taxi). It is only a short drive of around 5 minutes, but the walk there is too much (30-40 mins) in the hot weather. Taxi fare to other town areas (Museum, Sarakraf Pavillion, etc) are all RM 10 one way.
Taxi to Sarawak Cultural Village is RM 60 one way, but a cheaper option is to use the shuttle vans. Tickets can be purchased from the hotel reception at RM10 per adult one way and RM 5 per child one way.

We had a few rooms over a few days. Overall, it was a nice hotel, large sized rooms, breakfast was ok but with a great view of Kuching, pool was a good size, gym ok. Car park access was quite a long way down the basement from the street level, but is secure as the whole area was fenced up and need card access. next door to a small shopping centre which was connected thru the hotel. A few streets down, you can find local restaurants. it's an easy 10min drive to the waterfront. Best to have a car if you are going to stay here.

Need to install an intercom at the basement car park area as there was extremely weak to nil mobile phone signal. If your access card don't work, you will be stuck in the car park area!!
