Having stayed at 2 other Tune Hotels before, I already had a good idea of what to expect. I had taken a basic room and upon getting to my room I was slightly disappointed that there was no ceiling fan but a wall-mounted instead. Apart from this, everything was expected - comfortable bed, great shower, decent sized room, a area with hangers to hang your clothes & a fold out desk (of sorts). The room felt cozy, the fan actually worked out to be adequate & I ended up enjoying my room. The bathroom, however, particularly the glass door/partition, could've used with a bit more cleaning.
There is a small cafe at the lobby where I had my breakfast & got my snacks & drinks daily. There's also a tour desk, 2 PCs for guests' use, a sitting area & a TV at the lobby too. You can also book your shuttle to get to the airport from the front desk.
As for location, it was fantastic! It's right across the road from the Hilton, just a short walk to the waterfront & a variety of shops & surrounded by lots of foodplaces.
Though the hotel seems a bit tired, on the whole it's really fine & I actually enjoyed my stay & wouldn't mind staying here again when in Kuching.More
