This was one of our favourite discoveries in Kuching. Originally we found this one of carpenter street, but have since found two more outlets elsewhere outside of town.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious (the steamed and fried dumplings are the real highlight - available in both chicken and vegetarian). The best thing though has to be the ice blended passion fruit drink! It is delightful, and the whole package of dumplings and ice fruit juice is actually a superb hangover cure!

The café is in a great location, just at the end of carpenter street next to a Chinese temple - bang in the middle of town.

If you visit Kuching I would recommend you try this place for something a bit different from your standard coffeeshop food.

nice outside area and location. they serve local food which was ok but not great (we had chicken chop and dumpling soup). they tried to make the ordering easier (for foreigners?) by having a pre-printed sheet of paper to cross your order. but actually it makes ordering more complicated since they need to recheck with you anyway e.g. because they ran out of ingredients. service was quite slow.

Lovely Taiwan style noodles. Very tasty.
Dumplings quite average.
Food delivered very quick. Definately worth a visit for a light meal
Good value for money

This sit-down, indoor restaurant is a nice place to have a bowl of spicy noodles or steamed dumpling. There is wi-fi available. The food seems top notch, authentic and clean, though the staff is a little slow at times. Go if you are not in a rush and want to ease into the food stall experience.
