“Laksa haven!”
Reviewed May 30, 2012 via mobile

Small yet one of the most vibrant place in the heart of Kuching. It is by far the best laksa Sarawak! The ambience is magnetic and it draws you in despite the heat and sweat dripping down you! People would wait just to get a table or even share with strangers who normally would be in the midst of munching their laksa! Quality has not been compromised after all those years, maybe the belacan. Such tiny portion. Other than that, it's a haven in a bowl, comfort for the soul!

“It serves one of the best Sarawak Laksa in town.”

This coffee chop is well known for it's laksa but it has good kolok mee and sandwich too. The laksa is outstanding.

“Chong Choon Cafe right?”
Reviewed May 1, 2012

This is reputedly one of the best Sarawak Laka places in Kuching (there's a top 10 list on the web somewhere). Tried it plus a food court and yes I must agree it was excellent. RM 5 for a bowl of delicious spicy wonder. To find it, just go down Abel Road fron Tun Jugah shopping mall, away from the city centre/hotels. Stay on left side of the road and you'll find it on about the second corner after you pass Tun Jugah on your right.
