I like Oldtown White Coffee a lot. It is a brilliant idea to take a Kopitiam setting and make it a bit nicer so it is more comfortable. They can improve service though. Putting down the order on one of those paper sheets is OK, but the waiters should come around more often to check on the customers. The food was still good, and my American husband thoroughly enjoyed his nasi lemak.

Had a iced coffee which was nice. Poor service - had to find our own menus and ask waiter to order. Air conditioning not very effective!

If you're looking for a quick coffee treat with a bit of cold air from the humid/ hot weather while walking in Gaya street - drop by at this place. I always buy coffee from here (hazelnut) to bring home. We stayed here for half an hour after walking from Oceanus mall to Gaya street (20minutes walk). Before the hustle and bustle of nightlife, it's good to just rest and talk here. Coffee and Dessert and those kaya toastsare awesome!! Especially if you love soft boiled egg or you just want to try. Service is awesome. They give you this piece of paper where you can write your order. This place is at the corner street where you can get a cab and it's also near malls like Suria and near the atkinson clock tower (attraction), observatory in signal hill(attraction), near Jesselton point (dock where you can purchase tickets going to the island), good starting point on sunday morning for gaya street market. Don't miss out graffiti walls and the big durian near this establishment.

Old Town offers good food, good ambience, and great service at a reasonable price. They also have free wifi.

OldTown is a must-try treat. Ordered the original white coffee and it was exquisite! Not to mention it's really cheap (less than a 1 USD). It goes perfectly with Hainan Toast - really delicious! The original OldTown french toast was not as good though. On our 2nd trip, I tried the enriched hot chocolate and it was fantastic! You can try the iced too :)
