“Nice scene awesome water sports, but the people there can do better!”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

There was 6 of us that travel to the islands, the price to travel there was reasonable (compared, you might have to compare with few counters at Jesselton Jetty to get cheaper prices). We traveled there around end of august, the scene was nice, but there was a lot of rubbish there (include baby dryper), so be careful when u travel there. What they did is, they put a floating cone with rope around sapi island, this might prevent some of the rubbish floating into the snorkeling area. Hope there will be some changes, before the sea creatures ate the rubbish as their food. Generally, the coral was beautiful and there are a lot types of fish. But they can do better for the rubbish.

beautiful and really relaxing place as all the little or big islands in front of kota kinabalu, only a point, be careful with the boat driver, most of the times they try to f**** tourists with the price , especially if you're chinese (seen with my eyes) 20RM is the normal price for one island 30 for two

“Beachin' Rereat”

Beautiful Island, local wildlife (monitor lizards and bearded pigs) are habituated which is good or bad depending on your view point. Cheap food available for lunch and snacks. Snorkeling is fun although the coral reefs are slightly disturbed. But the island management do try their best to stop tourists impacting on it, while still allowing them to see them. A great Day Out!

“Sapi for a Half day”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

We went to Sapi Island one of the 5 islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Kotakinabalu, Malaysia. It was a very humid day and a weekday. It was full of people mostly Chinese, Koreans and all sorts of nationality. The view was nice and we dine at the nearest restaurant of which the the man taking orders is not so friendly. We didnot swim since its very hot and we dont feel it. Beaches back home are far more better and awesome.
