The village has been set out with the houses of five different tribes. Our guide, Jojo, was great. He explained all about the different tribes and how they lived. There were demonstrations of how they cooked and made wine, with some tasting offered also. The house have been replicated very well and certainly look authentic. We were entertained with people dressed up and giving us a demonstration of dance and music. After this we had a nice, but simple, meal at the end. Very glad we visited

Enjoyed the glimpse into the culture of the different tribes...guide was humorous and informative. The included lunch was simple but delicious. A taxi there should cost about 150RM two-ways from the town centre (the cabbie will be waiting upon the ending of the tour). We worked out that it was more worth it to get your own cab than to book through an agency, especially for larger groups.

Service is not worth for money.
Not really friendly and improve the place with drink kiosk. Overall, poor.

Its a nice one time experience to see and get feel of the tribal culture.
We arrived at the is place on 23rd oct 2014 just the same day we landed at Kota Kinabalu. we had booked the afternoon tour but reached there a little late. by the time we reached it had started drizzling and it was getting cloudy.

we picked some umbrellas from the reception and headed start to the log huts but the rain spoiled the entire show coz it poured cats and dogs. we were totally drenched in rain and the umbrellas could hardly do anything good for us. Our guide was a nice person and friendly in approach. the environment created is nice and its definitely a must visit for one time experience.

At the end of the tour there is stage show by the trail people and they encourage visitors to participate. Since we had booked thru a tour operator our meal was included , food was fresh and good. there is a little souvenir shop besides the eating area.

A good day out to learn some of the culture of Borneo. The different tribes of headhunters, how they lived , cooked, worked.
