I have to say this restaurant deserves 4 stars for not only a comfortable atmosphere but also for great western fusion meals at reasonable prices.

Had the australian beef pie and then the apple crumble for desert and both were as good as you would get in Sydney or Melbourne.

Chef was trained in Australia which explains the quality of the meals. Would most def. give it a go again.

Location: at Damai Plaze, next to Coffee Bean, with main entrance facing the main road. There is a rear entrance which can be accessed for those who need parking at the back.

We met the owner Terence in the Borneo Rainforest Lodge whilst he was there assisting in creating a new menu. He said he ran his own restaurant in KK so we visited when we arrived there. After having Asian food for a long time it was great to get my teeth into a leg of lamb with mashed potatoes. The lamb fell off the bone. It was delicious. Terence is from KK but grew up in Australia and trained as a chef down-under so his knowledge of how to cook western food is good.

It was good to see locals and ex-pats in the place. I think this shows that the food is good if you have both sides of the spectrum eating there.

The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol but BYOB is fine and there is a supermarket right next door that sells a pretty good selection of booze. You will be charged corkage but it is minimal.

The atmosphere is not what one would expect from a restaurant if you are a couple looking for a romantic time but if you want casual, this is the place. The idea is to have you enjoy your food and not worry about formalities. If you have a big group of you it is perfect because the tables are massive.

If we ever go back to KK, we will certainly go back to this restaurant.
