We booked three nights accommodation and a 2D1N Mt Kinabalu climb vis email.
Despite getting a confirmation email we arrived to find our room had not been booked.
We also then discovered that a climb hadn't been booked either.
It was all the fault of the receptionist who wasn't there at the time.
We did get our deposit back but it was a massive disappointment that we couldn't climb the mountain as planned.
Luckily I had printed out all of the email communication and the staff we dealt with did what they could to help.
We'll never know who's fault it was but we had been told by email that the booking had been made and it wasn't.
When we go back we won't be staying here or booking with them. If you do I recommend ringing and speaking to a person directly.More
