“Very well done”
Reviewed August 24, 2014

This museum was a really positive surprise. The main part was really well done and extremely interesting. The cafe did feel like a staff canteen though. We started visiting the outdoor reconstructed villages but the rain came so we left feeling like we'd seen the best of the museum

“Interesting”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

This is a great museum. Definitely worth getting on a local bus if you can figure out which one and where to catch it otherwise take a taxi as catching the bus back is easier. Lots of interesting info about Sabah. Amazing whale skeleton.

“Cultural section”
Reviewed August 1, 2014

The cultural section was the most interesting, our guide added a lot as she was from a hill rice farming tribe. Without a local guide this could be disappointing.

This museum covers several acres and includes some very attractive walks. You will need about 4 hours if you want to get the most out of this excellent attraction.
