“Nice place for lunch”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

My husband and I visited here today and had a nice cold beer and cider at the Cock and Bull and then decided to have lunch there too. Food provided by Uncle Lo's and we both had pineapple rice, my husband choosing the seafood option and me the chicken. Food was tasty with a hint of chilli giving it that spicy touch. Great for those who like their food spicy but not overbearing. Extra spices were offered if you needed it. Good serving, more than enough for me - and at 8 and 7 MYR respectively, very great value. Would certainly visit again.

“Great little adventure”
Reviewed November 24, 2013

Went looking seriously around hotel and visited Jesselton Point Jetty. Its really a departure arrival point but has some very interesting food outlets and shops with interesting items. We bought some cheap but genuine Akoya freshwater pearls and hats. Cheap as. No need to bargain.
Just be careful with the food. It pays to come at the beginning of lunch time that way you have a good chance that the food is close to being fresh. (Not always). It looked good but we were not game to risk our holiday by getting crook.

This jetty is where you have a number of ticket booths for both immediate islands such as Manikin and Sapi or a ferry to Labuan (3 hours) We took the express (????) to Labuan which was different. 40 MYR one way pp. You can also go on to Brunei etc. Interestingly tourist this is double what you pay if you are Malaysians. Double for tourists.

Remember your passport. Malaysia is an independent confederation of states so everything is like travelling between countries with custom control points etc. Not sure what security value this has but it sure employs a hell of a lot of people to harass you.

Overall pretty interesting and work a walk.

“It's a colourful ferry terminal!”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Not so sure this is a destination spot, more a place to pass thru', particularly if travelling from KK to the islands. Having said that it's a very colourful selection of food outlets and bars in a lively but clean and friendly environment.
If going to an island resort stock up here on consumables which will be much cheaper than in resort.

“Great central location”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

A beautiful place at night, brightly lit with shops & restaurants lining the walkway. IT’s nice to stroll along the sea front or sip a drink overlooking the harbour.
A central point in KK but mainly a ferry terminal to the neighbouring Islands of Manukan, Mamutik, Sapi, Sulug and Gaya.

“An ideal venue to relax, unwind and savor various dishes especially with families and friends”
Reviewed June 14, 2013 via mobile

Located on Jesselton Point Waterfront, this food court is a popular place for boat passenggers to take meals as well as diners who love the relax atmosphere in the evening. A popular meeting place for friends and guests to interact with the city on one side and the sea on the other. There plenty of good food to choose from including the Indonedian nasi padang from the Nasi Padang Ibu Restaurant, Thai dishes, Arabian kebabs and if course Malaysian delicacies. Alcohol is also available at an outlet. It is a short distance from the city centre and walking is a better option(weather permitting) as paths are available along the main roads to the Jetty Point.
