Easy to get to, just negotiate with one of the travel booths at Jessleton Jetty, we paid 100 Rig for return boat ride, hire of snorkel gear and parasailing. If we didn't go parasailing, the trip would have been a complete waste of time.
The water is awful, we didn't snorkel as I didn't feel like swimming amongst a sea of drink bottles, cigarette butts, plastic bags and everything else that was floating in the water. You pay a conservation fee but they certainly don't use the money to keep the water free of waste. There were huge bags dotted along the beach overflowing with rubbish, not a great sight.
We are in the restaurant and while it was ok, the service was terrible - our meals took over an hour to come out and they were only half full.
I don't know what the other islands are like, but I certainly would not bother coming to Manukan again
