“Crystal clear water”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

Clean beach, crystal clear water. The island have all the basic facilities - cafe, toilet, showers etc. Less crowded that other island because of the longer shoreline.

“Too commercialize”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

I like the island but it is too commercialize that the sea creatures near the beach are mostly dead and rubbish was floating in that area. The fish types are similar in shallow waters so snorkeling further will have a better variety of fishes.

“Idyllic Islands”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

A gorgeous place to spend the day. Safe snorkeling with so many tropical fish to see. Showers on hand to wash off the salt water at the end of the day. We got a two island return boat trip and it cost around 40 MYR, plus 10MYR covers entry fee to all islands for a day. We visited Sapi as well and both were amazing.
We thought the food at Sapi was expensive for what it was 45 MYR per person but there is a little shop there as well that sells ice creams etc.

“Awesome!”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Went there by speedboat at Jesselton Point. about 15-20 mins from terminal to the island.
for adult: RM23 ticket + RM7.20 for terminal fee + RM3 for island fee
snorkeling gear (better take it from the terminal): RM10 snorkeling gear + RM5 life jacket

my first time snorkeling, it was awesome! the life guards are friendly, they will suggest u where to go and where to get the best view.
the toilets are clean.
since we need to catch our flight at 3pm, we only spent like 1.5 hours on the island. go at 8:45 am and back at jetty 11:15am. just need to inform the boat guy what time you want to leave, they will arrange it for you.

at first, kind of afraid to go because of the Sulu attack at Lahad Datu, but Alhamdulillah, everything was okay.
