For the tourist, it will make a good walk on Sunday morning. Noted was also some of the items sold here were above the Super Market prices.

Plenty of snacks, potted plants, clothing, hats, drinks, local pastry (kuehs), hardwares, coffee powders, etc.

Nothing special, same like everywhere in Asia. Very hot to walk around. But for tourist something to see if markets interests you.

They closed off the street to traffic and allow stalls to be set up...

As far as the stalls are concerned, it's a range of local stuff, the usual t-shirts and fake goods...

Too hot to walk around in...but there are plenty of coffee shops and kopitiams along the street for the hubby to sit whilst the wife go browsing (I am writing this in one now...)

We stayed in the hotel that was walking distance from the market during one of Sunday, so we did not miss the chance to walk around for bargain stuffs in the market. There were variety of things sold in the market. Some of them were things that from local. The market closed after 1pm. We were not morning person, so we wished the market could extend the operation time to 3pm, so that we could be given more time to check all the stuffs that were sold in the market in more detail.
