Unfortunately the service and professionalisim is sub standard for example; no internet coverage in hotel rooms, the hotel rooms are not cleaned unless you demand it, restaurants and bar are either closed or have minimal choice.

This hotel may be okay as a BUMI hotel but certainly does not cater for the international traveller, better of staying at the Mrriott across the road for a RM100 per night less than the Palm Garden.

Its a limited services hotel. I have been there for a work course, need to stay for a week. So I have no choice at all. The room services is quite horrible because I need to move to another room. No electricity and the maintenance can't finished their work on that day due to any reason that I should not know. Out of my expectation, they should be more expert and efficient to solve that matter. My sight as a customer, I think there is a lot of improvement need to look forward, on the services and management too. It's quite tough to spend my whole week without internet access at room! I need to spend 1-2 hours at the lobby to get a better access. The food provided is also not very tasty and limited but what choice that I have? Soon I hope with my next vacation here, the services is much better than before.

Room Tip: room 303 is quite good suites. quite comfortable and you can see a nice view at night.

Recently my family had a family event in this hotel. We booked the hall for dinner, for 200 guests. This naturally comes with a room which I cannot fault as it was excellent. The function however left much to be desired. The waiters were lost until abuot an hour into the event when some supurvisors started coming in and sending orders. The food was below par. Flat and tasteless. It was supposed to be thai cuisine, the green curry chicken was watery, the squid overcooked and rubbery, the fish and the kailan were the only passable dishes. The rice was dry. The ice kachang (shaved ice) was rough, the chicken bites were salty. Basically the food (which was the highligh as it was a dinner event) was the point that ruined the event. All in all average.

Very nice room, spacious and clean. The staffs is very friendly especially in Front Office. Their managers Taufik is very courteous when handling my request. Breakfast can be improved as the replacement and the quality is not there.

The hotel is dated, tired and grubby. The room was large but not well laid out. We experienced problems with the AC which leaked in to the room, and with the internet connection which necessitated a move to an alternateive room. The breakfast is the worst we have had anywhere, the lunch was satisfactory. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but would benefit from training. The SPA is OK - I had a reasonable massge but hte room was very chilly. Not a great expereince.

Stayed here for a week during a business meeting between Christmas and New Year. The hotel is far away from most places and is not within walking distance of any places to eat, shop etc. The actual hotel is a bit dated and the rooms could do with some modernisation. Having said that we had breakfast and lunch at the hotel and I have to say the food was absolutely amazing. Great variety of authentic Malay food well cooked. Conference facilities were more than adequate and the staff made sure all our needs were accomodated. Overall a good value place to stay and meet, but a shame about the location.

The pros
Quiet and beautiful area and surroundings
Fabulous buffet breakfast included in the price
Nice staff

The cons
Carpets need to be replaced....they are so worn out and dirty I did not want to put my bare feet on them.

Email response needs to be more professional...I sent several emails and only got a response when I contacted the conference organizer...and when I arrived they still did not have a record of my booking.

Taxi from airport (prepaid) was 64 ringet. Taxi from hotel to airport was 80 ringet. The company charges the taxi companies for the privilege of coming to the hotel. Taxi into the centre of Putrajaya is very expensive...20 ringets for less than 3 kilometers. They tried to charge us $50. for a tour of Putrajaya.

The staff spent several hours trying to fix the toilet which never did work. They should have just moved us to another room, while they tried to fix the problem.

Secondary restaurants are only open on weekends.

Charge for the key to the lockers in the gym/swimming pool.

Wifi only works in the lobby and does not work all the time.

Shuttle to mall only runs during the weekend.

If the conference was not being held at this hotel I would have stayed somewhere else.

Room Tip: Ask to look at several rooms to select a cleaner room.
