Had stayed here for 2weeks on a business trip recently. The hotel is situated in a interior location and is surrounded by full of trees. The check in and check out is very quick. service is very good.Nice staff excellent ambience and infact a very picteresque location with parks on the front side. The rooms are good. but the one stayed in 1st floor had some issues with lizards as it was near to the park. The breakfast is something that you will enjoy for 1-2 days and after that it is boring. Room service is good and prompt. wifi is free with pretty good speed. There are no shops near by. The nearest shopping mall is alamanda mall which is nearly 2kms away. Infact the main road from this hotel is 1km away. If you have car then it is a good place to stay. There is happy hours from 5-6pm on weekdays and drinks and juices are offered complimentary which is a good thing. The hotel arranges for free shuttle service to nearby work locations and shopping malls in and around putrajaya and cyberjaya. But you need to book it prior. Taxis also are arranged by hotel on request. Overall, a good hotel but i will prefer to take food outside.

Room Tip: Dont opt for rooms in first floor, since the rooms are open to park you will face issues with lizards and insects.

There aren't many contemporary hotels that not only are situated in the middle of a beautifully landscaped park , but also have rooms with balconies from where you can appreciate the flora and fauna of the parkland.

Putrajaya is an artificial construct very much like Canberra and Brazila. A centre of government situated at a distance from the hustle and bustle of Malaysia's commercial centre Kuala Lumpur.

But why would you stay here? It's not near a Metro station, neither is it on a bus route - you need your own transport to enjoy this hotel or taxi or the hotel's shuttle bus which has a regular device to shops and the railway station. If you want to get away from it all for a weekend it's great. The fabulous botanical gardens are just a short walk away down by the lake,

The hotel sports an excellent infinity pool where you can wallow in the cooling water as you gaze over the North African inspired cupolas which predominate the modern architecture of Putrajaya.

The rooms are roomy and the beds are comfy so you can sleep very well here. Breakfast is a well-presented buffet that caters to western as well as eastern palates.

The staff are helpful and professional and everything runs very smoothly. Nice place to stay for a few days.

Room Tip: Stay at the front (garden view) to enjoy a panoramic view of Putrajaya from your balcony.

I stayed at Putrajaya Shangri-La for business.
The service was overall outstanding, as they recognise you by name and was greet with a smile and welcoming attitude (good morning, afternoon, evening and night)

If your looking to get away from the main city of Kuala Lumpur this would be an oasis of luxury with a touch of Shangri-La luxury.

Thank you to the team and management for your hospitality and welcoming city.
