Superb hotel. Excellent service all the way from making your reservation right up to check out. No doubt for the value.
Only setbacks are the parking which is rather far away from the entrance. Don't feel really safe when coming back at night especially when this hotel is rather isolated. And of course being isolated, more than 2 nights would rather be bored unless if u have wheels.
Wifi works perfectly fine and it's free. Perfect for business meetings out of the congested town and romance weekend.

Malaysia Putrajaya is near the government official office. You can imagine the price about RM500 per night. The room is very spaces and very nice design. Nice view from Balcony. Very quite as the hotel located on a hill. Surrounded with garden. You can talk in the lobby with a glass of beer or coffee! There is also a small swimming that can view the surronding scienery... The people are friendly and helpful. It a nice place to stay. The only thing I do not like is the "soft" pillow!

Room Tip: I think any room is nice! Especially with small balcony!

Just one night staying in Shangri-La Hotel during last business trip to Malaysia. It cost abour RM 500 include one Breakfast. Shangri-La Hotel is located at a hill in Putrajaya. From my room, I can see the nice view especially at night. A nice swiming pool at the other end of hotel. You can enjoy your drink and discussion with your customer near the lobby as good environment. In Shangri-La , the breackfast is nice especial the desert. .

Room Tip: I stay in Leve 4 , Room with small balcony and good view. Room design is very good. Good bathroom. B...

The hotel provides comfortable rooms and great service, however the location is pretty isolated -- unless of course you're on a romantic holiday and want that.

There is absolutely nowhere to buy anything (even fruit, snacks, food or whatever) within walking distance, and unless you want to drive or take a taxi, you're limited to staying around the hotel. However, they also run a shuttle a couple of times a day to the one mall in Putrajaya and to the Shangri La hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

There are some very nice walks in the park behind the hotel, and an intriguing megalith display of stones collected from around Malaysia.

Staff are very pleasant and welcoming, and the room service is fast, unobtrusive and friendly.

Wireless internet coverage is excellent, and was included in the rate. And better still, probably because the hotel is is an isolated location, they don't make you go through the hassle of entering all those frustrating access codes every time you connect.

I'd give 5 stars except for the location.

We stayed at this hotel for the Moto GP race in Sepang this year, so spent more time away from the hotel than we typically do, but really enjoyed the time we were there, particularly for Malaysia. The rooms were large, clean, and quite comfortable. The kids loved the pool, the gym was good, the spa was nice, and the breakfast buffet was more than adequate. We so looked forward to the cocktail hour when we returned each night! The staff was amazingly attentive and called us by our names every time they saw us, starting from check in. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the mold on the balcony, but that is commonly seen in this part of the world due to the high humidity, so not unusual or unexpected--but being an American, something I still have trouble accepting. I would definitely stay here again.

As this was our first visit to Malaysia I was grateful to the concierge who was very helpful, as were the staff at the front desk. The rooms were large and the ensuite well appointed. The restaurant offered an amazing array of food. The breakfasts were cooked for us while we watched. As this was a business trip and we had a function to attend on the premises, the whole 2 days we spent there were a pleasure.

Room Tip: We stayed at ground level - the same level as Reception and the pool which was very convient. Howev...
