Location wise is quite isolated. Spacious lobby area. Wide selection of buffet breakfast and lunch but coffee is disappointing. My room is big with a big bed. They have the best pillows that feels just right. The only other setback is the Japanese restaurant - I dont recommend it.

Stayed for a conference which coincided with F1 week preparation with some other large groups. Arrived late at night around 10pm and was totally shocked to see a line of 40+ checking in, all from the same group. It was unbelievable and I wondered why the hotel did not arrange for group check in for everyone's convenience. To the credit of the front office supervisor, she took my passport and checked me in separately. My king room was more like a lower end of 4 star standard, big but seems sparsely decorated. Does not seem like much thought went into the design. Room feels dated and tired. Bed comfort was just average. Staff overall very polite, greet guests proactively with a smile. Lady at check out was inexperienced and did not know the procedures. Took her a while to figure things out while a colleague next to her kept teaching her what to do. Gave her my credit card and to my horror she wrote down my credit card number on a piece of paper. I stopped her before she could finish and she said she wanted to use as a reference as she keyed into the computer. I would mark this down as a lapse in data security. So start and end of my stay were not competently handled. Not a good impression for arrival and departure.

The hotel is far from the city and cost a lot of money, the counter staff seems are not happy with their jobs and not fully aware of the services and products.
The bath rooms is very standard and shower materials are very cheap and not up to the standard of Marriott hotel.

This is a nice hotel, the rooms are big with all the basic amenities that you expect.
The lobby looks great and nice.
If you are on business trip and work near Putrajaya or Cyberjaya this is a nice place to stay.

The only drawback is it is away from KL and not much to do, so if you are looking for a peaceful stay and not looking to go around this is fine.

They have some shuttle services so thats another advantage.

Coming to the rooms itself, though they are big you can find some finishing issues like minior cracks on the walls. If that doesnt bother you much then this is fine place.

Room Tip: High floor rooms have a good view

We stayed most of our time in a centrally located hotel in KL and wanted to have a small escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. With a little search we chose Marriott for its location in Putrajaya and were not disappointed.

Lush green surroundings and the nearby golf course gives the hotel a nice resort feel. The hotel sits beautifully in the scenery and from the golf course it looks like a mansion. The lobby is spacious and has a huge staircase.

Our room was towards the pool and from the window we could see the twin towers at a distance. The bed was excellent and the room was in a rather good shape. The only minor downs were that the wallpapers looked little tired at places such as below the desk, and that the room did not smell fresh but slightly damp.

The service we received was as excellent as you can expect in a hotel of this class. Some of the staff even came for a small chat and everyone was really friendly. Most of the other guests were there for business and the pool was all ours in the afternoon.

The hotel also has a shuttle service. The cars they have are a little nicer than taxis in general and are a little more costly too.

The hotel has a number of restaurants and we had a dinner in the chinese one. The flavors were enjoyable and the dinner was not expensive at all. The breakfast has lots of selection and the breakfast restaurant is cosy. The restaurant staff is friendly and attentive.

Although the rooms were not 100% spotless we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here for 3 nights during a business trip. Had a very pleasant and comfortable experience. Room was quite spacious with good internet connectivity, pool and spa was good, buffet breakfast was awesome and service was great. Food was on the expensive side however quality was quite good. It overlooks a golf course and has a good tropical feel to it. The hotel itself is quite imposing and has a good architectural feel rather than the standard box type luxury hotels in large cities. This is probably because it's far from KL proper and land isn't an issue. We had some problem during checkout but staff was always helpful with a courteous attitude.

Assalamualaikum/Good day,

It is my first time stay at Marriot Putrajaya, as usual the reception from Marriot's staff always very good and pleasant.

Positive:
1. The room very nice eventhough not that big.
2. Best pool view from high floor room.
3. Bed, pillow and comforter from Marriot Hotel always very good, seem do not want to wake up from the bed.
4. Pool very big and unfortunately not able to try due limited of time.
5. Be able to late check out.

However, the location of this hotel quite far from putrajaya and not easy to find. Nearby place of interest not that near to this hotel i.e mall, hawkers, restaurant and etc.
