I had a good room, although the bathroom had a shower which didn't have much power and leaked onto the floor (this is the only reason for not rating as excellent). The food in the restaurant was varied and of high quality and the pool and bar areas were clean and the staff very helpful. The location for the PICC and the view of the lake was great.

The PPL is an oasis in the middle of Putrajaya, with its lakeside location, well manicured and lush grounds as well as well-appointed an luxurious rooms. However, such resort-like amenities may be irrelevant, and even a bother, when you are there for a sun-up to sun-down conference, as many are wont to do in a landlocked, city hotel.
*My room*
My room, which was on the Spa Floor, had everything, and then some. Bed was super comfortable. There was a jacuzzi bathtub in the bedroom. You read that correctly. Not in the bathroom, but the bedroom. If you're with your significant other for a romantic escapade, it is a wonderful amenity. If, however, you're alone and only use the room to catch 40 winks, the bathtub is just an obstacle when you want to draw the curtains. Save for that, the room was perfect.
*Grounds*
A colleague remarked that one needed a GPS to get around the hotel. I agree. It is spread out across several blocks, like a sprawling beachside resort. On more than one occasion, staff had to guide the way (they were excellent in this regard, by the way: plenty of then around who dropped whatever they were doing to assist you). The quickest way from A to B is to cross the open areas. Fine when it's sunny. Inconvenient when you're in business clothes, have to get to the meeting room and it's raining.
*F&B*
We had our buffet meals at the main restaurant / coffee shop. It was a hit or miss, with some dishes repeated over lunch and dinner. However, the good was fresh and healthy (low salt). The spread was not as large as I would expect of a 5 star KL hotel, though.

This room had a spa bath as well as the shower room so gave it a go one evening Took a while to find the power switch for the bath as it was on the desk wall without any labelling. I found the jet pumps a bit on the noisy side but worked very well.

Getting to the blackout blind behind the bath was a bit of an obstacle though so generally left the blind down.

Unlike all my other visits I had two days to myself so had the opportunity to try out some of the facilities.

The swimming pool is not that big but provides the depth and length to get some swimming exercise in.

The Gym I found was well equipped and was able to get a few miles on the exercise bike as well as weights,

Next the gym they have changing rooms with the sauna and steam rooms in which is one thing I do find enjoyable. Easy to use but in the time I was using it no staff entered this area so be aware you are on your own.

All the staff as always were cordial and ready to assist, The menu in the restaurant was the same fair as previous visits and due to maintenance the B's was closed and alternate arrangements were in place.

We stayed at the hotel for our famuly short weekend getaway. Check in was smooth and was given an upgrade from the room that we have booked. Very friendly staff.

Room was great. 3 balconies and the view was wonderful. Room was clean and in was in great condition.

Breakfast was at the open area (due to temporary closure of their all day dining restaurant). Variety of foods (ranging from asian, western and etc). However, I saw people who needed to wait to be seated for their breakfast (something that the management can take note)/

Other than that, facilities were great... its a huge hotel, so might need to walk quite far from lobby to the hotel rooms. Value for money. Will come back again!!!!

Room Tip: Book a room with lakeview - bunga tanjung wing (its a little bit pricy, but worth it!!!)
